Thanks Everybody! I think she is just a living doll . One thing that has really surprised me in the month that she's been here is she has really filled the huge hole in my heart that was left when my Mother died almost 4 years ago. For REAL! Me too. Ive had that thing dialed down to 75(at least) since the end of Jan.(I'm in south Ga). It's working hard this week-its HOT out there and I dont do hot inside. I love saving money and do almost everything the most frugal way that I can but I will use the AC without any guilt. Being hot and sticky in the house agitates me and no one wants that... .

Oh....it's bad...REALLY bad. I was married to a master plumber who only did commercial jobs for 20 yrs and he is a total clean freak(needs to be medicated, actually ). You dont wanna know. Especially the ice machines...not good.

Everyone is different about birthdays and holidays but in my family they have always been a big deal. Youre just gonna have to break it down for him and tell him. They dont get it sometimes. He probably thinks he did a GREAT job! I'd be sweet about it but I'd make sure he knows or else it may get worse with every passing year. I'd feel like you feel about it. I want to be remembered and made to feel special. Nothing wrong or unreasonable about that a few times a year.

when I tended bar, I was very VERY clean about cutting and making my garnishes: lemon/lime wedges, orange slices, blue cheese stuffed olives, etc but thats only because I'm a clean person and I actually CARED that ppl didnt get sick. Otherwise, I KNOW how most ppl do it and its really gross. The worst thing in a restaurant though is water and ice. You dont even wanna know what I know about that .

You hit the nail on the head there! I have definitely had my share of embracing or ignoring all sorts of "feelings" in the last year. Having a very rough pregnancy and just having moved 4 hours from home and buying a "fixer upper" house that is under constant construction, I've had to keep in mind that when I felt my worst or when I felt overwhelmed or scared that these feelings would pass and life would soon get back to normal- or close ot it, anyway. I love my life and would do it all again to get where I am now but those feelings sure can weigh you down if you let them!

MAC is definitely not cheap. It was just a general point. I love MAC and prefer it to almost any other line. MAC and Aveda are my favorites.

I'm all for up and recycling and sharing. Great idea! I read a story recently about maternity and womens clothing being "checked out" the same way. Not from a library but the same idea. In this economy and with our waste/land fill situation in this country, we should all be looking for ways to do this sort of thing.

"Good" lipstick isnt made to last all day. The cheaper stuff are the ones that do that(or last longer, anyway). But, for just playing, cheap is probably better ? And, red lipstick can look FABULOUS on almost anybody, you just HAVE TO HAVE THE RIGHT RED! There are LOTS of them. It takes guts to wear red lips... .

I have it! I have LOVED that album since it came out. It is a true classic.

We had a get together last night and its always interesting to see what people like. We always get a few cases of different beers ranging from domestics to foreign and a few bottles of wine. Last night, Moscato was definitely the big hit. Men and women were drinking it(its usually a "girly-er" wine). I even had to send a friend to get 2 more large bottles halfway through and they were both dry when the last guest left.
