Hahaha! That is pretty much what I was gonna say. You want a coke? Pass the popcorn, please. -
I grew up listening to Slim Whitman b/c my parents loved him and played his music very often. Great music. First loves are like no other. Bitter sweet to remember... .

I finally found something to put in the sling
Gipper Girl Rocks replied to Gipper Girl Rocks's topic in RECENT TOPICS
Thank you. I still cannot believe she's mine. Ohhhh, yes, you are so right! I am way too old for that pregnant thing ever again. So glad to have her here now. And there is nothing sweeter to me than to see a big 'ol manly man get giddy and turn to mush over a tiny baby like Will has. She was worth all the struggle for sure. -

It may turn that way, Postman, mine did but she came out with a lot of dark hair just like her Daddy. People say she looks like me...til I take her hat off... . -

Gipper Girl Rocks replied to Eddie Bennett's topic in RECENT TOPICS
Anytime, Postman. If you need someone in the area to help I have a few really good, professional reccomendations on people you can trust. Thank you . We are both GREAT! I feel soooooo much better now that she's on THIS side of my body instead of being pregnant . She is an angel and we are enjoying every single minute with her. -

Postman, you can research tax records for free online to see what other comparable properties have recently sold for in the area. Make sure the comps are very similar and that you always consider the sales price, not the listed price(tax records will only show the "sold" price-what a property lists for means nothing). Might take a little digging to find a few good camparables in this market though. Try to find them as close in proximity as possible. Although, with property like this one, you can go out a little further distance-wise for camparables usually since there won't be that many to -
I love it ! I was wearing it(and her)when I took this pic so its a little hard to figure out but it's a baby sling. Thank you, Momof3. I was looking for them when you sent it. She loves it and it is perfect for keeping her a little more alert in the parts of the day I want her to figure her days from her nights. She just helped me make dinner... . She's actually in it as I type .

It just occured to me that when I asked about the former owners' mail being forwarded they post dept reminded me that it is illegal to even throw other peoples junk mail away that comes to YOUR mailbox(really stupid but it's true). On that note considering how crazy people can be, I'd make one try at the SO, wait a couple business days and send the thing back asap for sure if the guy doesnt show up.
-
I'd call the office like you said and then if I got no response within a reasonable time, I'd mail it back. I get ALL of my house's former owners mail. She was in very bad financial shape and I'm sure thats why she didnt forward her mail but it gets really annoying. Just her share of junk mail alone bugs me. I tried to have it forwarded myself but the postman told me all I could do was to write "return to sender" or "wrong address" on every single piece and put it back in the mailbox... . She gets so much mail here that that would be like a part time job for me!

Thanks so much Everybody! Had a busy day yesterday working on getting Mimi started on Dr Denmarks scedule. It is the way to go for sure. We all slept 6 hours straight last night and actually felt good enough to run some errands and grocery shop a little. Never thought I'd feel this good this soon. In comparison though, almost anything would be better than how I felt while pregnant . I am loving and enjoying every single second of this and it IS even better the second time around. I'm at ease with her and not worried about every little thing. She had her first checkup yesterday and

I'm here but a little on the sleep deprived zombie side... . Got 6 straight hours of sleep though last night . We are working on Dr Denmarks schedule so it's rough right now but we will all be sleeping again soon. Sleep is WAY under-rated, BTW.
-
I TOTALLY agree on the sleep thing. Good for his Mamma! That's why I'm up right now . It's a little rough the first few days when you start or start on a transistion schedule(only happens a few times), but so worth it. The benefits of a baby that eats and sleeps well and on a schedule are priceless to a family working at least close to "normal". Dr Denmark told me once that getting them on her schedule is like breaking a bad habit- "you can either crop the puppies tail one time and get it over with then no more pain or discomfort or you can do it a little piece at a time... ". Her wisdom w

A beautiful few days in Pigeon Forge

Thats great! I really enjoy going there every couple years to relax. Sounds like you all have having a great time and making good memories. BTW, I love eating dinner at The Park restaurant in Gatlinburg(towards the far end of the main road thu town). They usually have a live pianist who plays classic standards and always a WONDERFUL steak. -
You got it! All done the Dr Denmark way. I can tell you know it well are are most likely a pro! I've had it lined and ready to go for weeks now... ...couldnt wait to put her in it. Yes, I heard about her passing. Guess I thought she'd live forever. It is really sad that shes no longer here. But, what a legacy she left! If you havent, you'd probably enjoy reading her history profile on her website(Google it and itll pop up....not sure of the exact address:/). You probably know most of it already but it gives some interesting details that I had never heard. I think it's interesting that she

Thnx, Lady and thank you for your encouragement and always making me giggle... .

Thank you All! Feeling like a real human is definetely under-rated! Hope I dont ever forget how nice it feels in contrast. It is so much fun to dress up a girl! Been waiting to do that my whole life... . Yes, we are truly, truly blessed. No complaints and gushing with a thankful and humble heart. Does my new sig "go"? Haha ... I love it, Postman!

Thank you all for your sweet words and especially for your prayers. I have so enjoyed(and cried)reading this thread. We just got home a few hours ago. I couldnt post to Pcom from my phone...no fault of Pcom. Just one of those quirky web things that I am NO good at. It really means a lot to me that so many of you were praying for us and pulling for us, too. I appreciate it more than you know. I really could feel the love and strength during the hardest part when I felt like I was about a breath away from snapping and hung onto that with every breath(some of you know the feeling... ).

That is sooooooooooooooooo true. I have been in the cutomer service biz for over 20 years. Both in the salon industry and have had "fun jobs" bartending and waitressing here and there(I love it). So, I have depended on tips to be my "running money" every week. I didnt have an ATM card until a couple years ago just b/c I always had cash and it kept me from overspending. In the salon and restaurants, employees remember the good tippers. I have seen assistants(younger girls in the salon)who are in school and apprenticing, literally fight over shampooing clients who tip really well. I am

I have always heard that an alcoholic CANNOT ever take a pill, either. A drink, a pill, its all the same- insulation of real feelings. I can see how easily it can happen. I wish the best for your friend. I have read and heard about how much better in patient housing is for recovery than outpatient. If you didnt catch it, you may get something from Dr Drews interview last week with boxing champ Oscar De LaHoya (you should be able to find it online). He said he had not been sober at ALL since he was 8 yrs old. He is now a year sober and was SO down to earth, humble and real in the interview. H

Thank you very much! I ended up getting sick about 4 times last night...think it was my nerves . she just might! Thank, Mr Dis .

Wow! Some of my best lifelong friends live there and have for almost 20 years. I'll talk to them tomorrow. Hope they are okay.

Heres my advice. Go to counseling. If you feel like you cannot be 100% upfront and TOTALLY honest b/c of how your fiance will react, dont get married. Not then anyway. I made that mistake. We were married 16 years and went to more counseling 15 years into it. Then I REALLY felt backed into a corner not being able to REALLY say what I was feeling for fear of having to live with it once we got in the car and at home. Recipe for disaster. Just my 2 cents . I wish you lots of luck...

Gah! That pastor and my ex-husband would get along GREAT! They might even decide to let a woman out of the house every once in a while by herself as long as she has all the work done, of course. Im kidding(sort of). I completely understand your point and it is a good one... .

Wow! How sweet! Thank you all soooo much! I'm up at 2am cleaning like crazy. I even windexed the bathroom scale that I dont even use a few mins ago . Nesting. I'm gonna get to bed, sleep late, Will is taking me to get a REALLY nice spa pedicure and then on to the hospital at 5pm . They actually sent me an invitation... . He gave me a "push " gift tonight that blew me away...a beautiful necklace and earrings. Wonder how it will look with a hospital gown? I guess that means I have to be really nice during labor? Keep us in your prayers please! I will update asap!!! I dont
