Thank you All~ I got into painting when I went to sips-n-strokes with a group from work. LOVED IT! Then went back with 10 of my friends~HAD A BLAST Now, it's cheaper for me to have my own stuff (including the wine..lol) and paint away. We should have a sips ~n~ strokes of our own P.Com style. Gonna do a little more today...I will share , again....thanks for your kind words

Fall is here and no better way than to kick off with Halloween.... I painted this...what cha think? Disclaimer: I am in no way representing a professional artist...I simply do crafts to occupy my time and because I enjoy them! LOL

I have been scrapbooking for years, have an entire room dedicated to arts/crafts. Michaels and Hobby Lobby are the best for purchasing items, however, the coolest scrap pages that I have made have been using items from the pic. Say its a pick of your favorite animal, get a little lock of fur and put in a little bag to place somewhere on the page. Happy Scrapping!

You have to be served by local law enforcement for a lawsuit. They will always say they have filed one, however, until the sherriff knocks on your door, don't worry about it. If they do, then you will at least have your day in front of a judge to tell your side of the story. It is a civil matter.

I doubt that the Air Races will stop as this is a HUGE event in the Aviation industry. These type of incedents are few and far between as the number of Airshows have somewhat grown in popularity. If you research back, there have been several, but in comparison to the number of events it is very nominal. A tragic mishap yes, but Aviation enthusiasts will still attend.

so sad...the air races are a long standing tradition in Reno. The pilot was 70 and well trained. New reports show him pulling the aircraft AWAY from the crowd as it was in a nose dive. Knowing he was loosing his life, he tried to save others. What a hero! Prayers said for all involved!

I had someone cleaning out my gutters and on my roof a couple of weeks ago and believe it or not, they had made a nest in a pile of leaves on the ROOF!! (I have nothing but trees in my yard) He got stung about 40 times and had to go to the hospital. Thank GOD he did not fall off the roof!

I used to tell my kids that if they were telling a lie, a black line would be on their tounge and in my meanest voice say ....stick out your tounge Only you could tell if they were lying or not because their eyes would get big and that tounge wasn't coming out! My BF can't believe that it worked, but it did!!! Also, I had a sty on my eye and my grandma told me to go out to the mailbox, first thing in the morning, and sing (in my cutest little girl voice) "Sty , Sty, on my eye...catch the next one that comes by"

My daughter got a pair of cowboy boots that she loves, however, they need to be stretched a little. One will go on but the other (probably her larger foot) is barely missing it. Does anyone know of a local shoe shop that stretches them?
