    Dont know about festival this weekend in VR, but next weekend (aug. 7- there will be a hot air ballon festival. Looks like some fun!

    Jill Morgan. She is a custodian at Powder Springs Elem (for over 10 years) and her hubby is custodian at PB Ritch Elem. She has been battling cancer for 1 year and now it has spread to lungs and brain. She is such a super sweet woman and this is terrible that she is going thru this awful disease.

    We just finished dinner.....sirloin steaks (special this week $5.99lb) from West Metro and baked potatoes. It was good!!!!

    We already ate.....I went the easy way out.....tacos, soft and hard shell 1 of the kiddos have football camp this week, so it will be quick and easy dinners

    Is it open today? I live out near there and was coming home a few days ago and it looked like I saw a sign that said "open soon."

    Oh cool. I am so addicted to this crazy show! I will have to check out the cast, but I am going to miss the first 2 shows, we are gonna be gone next week.

    we have stayed at a place called Kristy Chalets. they back up to the river and walking distance to everything.

    At my trio's birthday a few months back, when guests ask, "what does your kids want?" I answer movie tickets. So of course we have gotten quiet a few to hwy 278. Also, I dont buy food there. I always stop at store, but candy and drinks and just put them in the purse. We dont get popcorn, but candy and a drink usually satisfy my kiddos.

    I've never eaten at Salt Walters, but capt andersons is nice with good food. the atmosphere is nice and calming looking at the water. Have fun, we just got back a week ago.

    I am thinking of going to this also.....lots of kids activities, some free and then the fireworks show. It should be fun!

    The locks are only 3 years old, so in very good shape. If I take off the knobs and deadbolts, Home depot can rekey them for me???

    which is cheaper, change door knobs and deadbolts yourself or hire a locksmith to rekey?

    Please give the address of the Paulding Senior Center, I think I know where it is, but just not 100% sure.

    I give blood when I can remember, so I am game. But my biggest problem is: I would probably have to bring my 3- 9 year olds. I dont have any babysitters and hubby dont get home until almost 6 pm. So I can donate, if someone will watch my kiddos. On site of course.
