  1. Oh yes! I agree! They are very unique and special. In one part of the video it looks like they and the brown deer don't get along so well! I also loved the history and Native American legend information. The white furry horns are spectacular!!! Luckily they are protected by state law, and continue to reproduce yearly. Cool find!
  2. I know, you do such a good job!
  3. I just saw the channel 2 news and they are predicting it to snow again in Atlanta for a couple of hours on Friday morning! It's not expected to cause a scene and will probably melt quickly. Then, have you seen this weekends warm-up forecasts?
  4. off subject::Every time I get near one of your posts DGITW; my mac slows right down and my color wheel thingy starts spinning.... I wonder if it is your avatar causing it, or something else? Hmmmm.......
  5. I was going to say "the liquor bottle" or what he said, but hey IT WAS UP THERE WASN"T IT?!?!?!
  6. I'm glad there wasn't white sheets over my terrible wreck on East Paulding a couple of years ago.....
  7. I am actually proud that Paulding Co. made this decision. A little snow on the ground shouldn't stop them from having a productive day at school. This morning I searched everywhere to see about a delay or closing. Nothing. I didn't get a "warning" call...lol! I got the girls up and ready just like normal once I saw that the roads looked fine. One of my girls said, "Why am I still going to school when there's snow on the ground?" I told here almost every snow is different, and that this one wasn't affecting travel because the snow melted as soon as it hit the asphalt. She and her sister we
  8. So I know there are a lot of people watching the weather and wondering....will they cancel school for tomorrow, or not? I'm betting on a closure for tomorrow. I also hope it will melt fast either way!
  9. I didn't know if House of Lu delivered or not.......
  10. That's a lot of casserole! LOL.... We are having spaghetti with rotini instead, redneck garlic bread, and salad.
  11. There is a Chinese restauraunt in New Hope that delivers. I'm not sure the name , though. Johhny's Pizza in New Hope will also deliver there. Really only pizza and chinese restaraunts deliver around here.
  12. Yeah, like this. I stayed up late on Saturday night to watch 'The Postman' with Kevin Costner. It was a long and interesting movie. Although the only drawback was that he really was "a drifter who found a mail bag". Bethlehem had me ready to turn it off every time he would go on another rant! Also; sorry for attacking you over your spelling woes, that time.
  13. She probably has a very nice upstairs space, with a balcony. The protesters probably want in, so they can be out of the streets. On an upstairs balcony you have "the upper hand" on your enemy/target.
  14. Not only are the reporters in danger so is a little old lady that's 76 yrs. old! She is trapped in her apartment on the Tahrir Sq. Brian Williams from NBC was talking with her on the phone yesterday. She has no one. Although she said she's branding a sharp knife, hot water, her walking cane, and a rolling pin! Poor lady, she said they've already tried to beat down her door, broke the glass and tried to reach in and turn the key to the deadbolt to gain access.
  15. ^^^^ME TOO!!!!!!!! Mother Nature is really showing her a$$!!!!!!!!
  16. OH .GOSH.that just reminds me of that really scary movie called "When A Stranger Calls"! About a baby-sitter who is tormented by a kidnapping, ventriliquist, muderer! He paints himself invisible through-out the whole movie.
  17. I liked Southland on NBC and I miss Third Watch and ER didn't tank, but gosh I miss it!
  18. Me neither, I'm a big fan of french toast, though. I can eat like 6 pieces!
  19. I just went to "Portal", and paused the P.Com News. Then I scrolled down to the image of the scanner and pushed the play button. This is through Livestream, it may be slow, because when I played it; the circle just kept spinning and spinning........
  20. The Paulding Business Association February luncheon will be held Thursday, February 10th, at Stars and Strikes. Networking begins at 11:30 a.m. with lunch from 12:00 noon - 1:00 p.m. The guest speaker will be Paulding County Fire Chief Mike Earwood. The cost for the luncheon is $10 each and visitors are welcome to attend twice before joining the Association. I got this off of their Facebook Page. I think the least membership amt. is 80.00 per year. There are other levels though!
  21. Congratulations! Working in a new store is awesome. I worked that very schedule for 15 mos. It wore me out! I wanted to sleep ALL DAY! I made good money at it sometimes. But, I didn't want to get out of bed until late in the day and felt like I was not spending enough time with my kids. I needed a sitter to work AND sleep.......Good Luck! When you get better at it, I would try to get on 1st shift.
