I have been signing up my girls for various camps w/ the county rec dept. Softball Camp for young girls is cancelled this year. It is one of their favorites. They went to it last year and had a great time and did so good. But, they said it won't be happening this year.

I adopted the cutest little schnauzer mix there today! $35.00 and a little bit of paperwork and Scooter got his forever home. Our dog Domino loves him, everyone does!

My girl goes to CA Roberts and they are having one on the last day of school. The girls are wearing red caps and the boys are wearing blue ones. No gowns but nice clothes.

My daughter just had back surgery recently( she is 7) and she was prescribed Physical therapy. This is to increase her core strength. Some of the information on the hand-out is incorrect. I thought I would ask on here about it, before I start calling around.

I do it all the time! I love to jam to some good music and dance and sing until my hearts content. I use my water bottle as a mic and play air guitar! I also play air piano and air drums. I like to point out the layers of music to my kids. I know they probably think I'm wierd, but they laugh and we all enjoy it! So I'm probably that 30 something girl in a red mini-van you saw dancing in the driver's seat! Rock on peeps!

My daughter missed about a week the first time. Her lengthenings are usually done on Thursday. She misses Thurs and Friday 2 times a year. But, she is ready to go back by Monday. Spring Break is next week so she will have plenty of time to recover before school is back in. She will have to have the rods until she is like 13 I think. She's 7. She has been fitted for a turtle shell back brace. She has worn one before. IV's are out and she is dressed and walking around. Home soon!

I'm sorry to say that it is very painful. Especially the very first one. He will have a morphine pump with a button the first day or two. He will need to self-administer the morphine before he tries to move. They say the younger they are for this type of sugery the better. My girl is 7. The young ones are raring to go and want to get up and heal faster. But, after the surgery you are going to wan t to get him up and moving as soon as possible.
