YAY!! What's fun happening around here this weekend?

Wow! My girl has two curves, one in the middle and one at the lower region. Even with the broken rods in there, she jumps, plays, rollerblades, turns flips, etc.! I keep telling her to take it easy but she refuses! She does not want to be treated like a disabled person. She will def. show you that she is NOT disabled. She worries me to death, and now I'm going to worry all the time about breakage. Especially since Spring and Summer are coming!

I am bored to tears here at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta! My daughter had a very invasive back surgery done on her yesterday. She was born with severe congenital scoliosis and has had metal growth rods bolted to her spine. They require "lengthening" every six months. This past six months she grew at a fast rate, and must have had a bad fall, because they were broken when she went for the pre-op appointment. I have worried myself to no end over my girl and these rods in her back. But, thankfully yesterday they were fixed and she is recovering. All of the medic stuff is done. She is now in

Have you ever seen the milk after that cereal is gone? There's like a buttery/oily sheen on it! It's gross and prolly bad for your teeth and body. Honey Nut Cheerios are the best!

I'm a SAHM. I have a young son at home and 2 girls in elementary school. Ever since he was a new born I have always napped when he does.(the girls, too when they were his age) I just love to take a nap! We fit it right in between after lunch and when the girls get home from school. I am lucky to be able to do this. But, there will come a day when I will have to kick this habit! So, do you take a nap or not?

I'm hearing more and more every day what depression in children and adults can cause. It can affect all aspects of your life. I'm depressed and crazy! NOT.A.GOOD.COMBO. Anger? Yes. I can become easily angered just by the fact that I am depressed and crazy.

I am noticing all of these trees and flowers blooming too! We've been looking at barren for so long. I love it when the very first blooms and flowers appear, because you know it's almost here! Spring. I also like the big bushes that are blooming bright yellow right now. What is the name of it? I told my husband I thought it was real cool how we incorporate the colors of nature into our wardrobes and such. Ivory, pastels pink and purple, lime green, yellow. These are the Easter colors, and for good reason! I love this time of year. Now, if we could just get that warmer weather blooming again..
