Cell phone subscribers can choose? When I got my cell number years ago, the ATT people essentially said, "This is your new number. Take it or leave it." My spouse has a different area code, and when the same area code as mine was requested, was told, "Sorry, there is nothing we can do."

Ironically, I had just watched it last week...

I just want to wish you both good luck. We're all counting on you.

It's a big building with patients--but that's not important now.

True, the rate was guaranteed for one year.

Yes, I received the same increase from $37.50 to $46.50. Ugh!

In late May signs were placed on Ivey Gulledge informaing all that a portion of it would be closed from June 1--July 29, so it will not be opened for a while yet. As others have pointed out, this is to straighten the hairpin curve on Ivey Gulledge, near Seven Hills Blvd. Given the the proximity to the dump and recycling center, I agree that an additional sign on Old Cartersville Road would have been a good idea. One can access the dump and recycling center from the Frey Road detour off Dallas-Acworth, or from Seven Hills. The signs on and near Dallas-Acworth Highway limiting trucks over th

Do you not have your own insurance company? Handling things like this is precisely what you pay them for.

True, Wendy Bagwell takes one on 278 out of Paulding to the East, while it is Nathan Dean Parkway on the west--not to be confused with Nathan Dean Blvd., which is a section of Highway 61. Speaking of Highway 61, that is called Cartersville Highway north of downtown Dallas, North Confederate Avenue in downtown Dallas, then it merges with Business 6 and briefly becomes East Memorial Drive, then Nathan Dean Blvd., then Villa Rica Highway south of 278, to the Carroll County line. Highway 120 goes through multiple nme changes in Cobb and Paulding, as well. I have seen the same phenomen

RIP, Andy. Moderator, we already have at least three different Andy Griffith RIP threads. May we merge them? I don't know why people don't check recent threads before starting a new one on something like this.

I had Kirkland AC install two attic ventilator fans two years ago. Like day and night. Upstairs has never struggled in temp since that time. Electric bills a litle lower, but unit always cools efficiently now, never struggles to reach desired temp.

What I see here is the challenger attempting very vigorously to label herself as a conservative because she knows that this will play in Paulding County. However, little of what she says truly seems to amount to a conservative platform. She triers to use buzzwords, but when pressed for details, her responses range from vague and nondescript to not-at-all-conservative-sounding. This includes responses to questions about aboortzion, immigration, transportation, health care, et al. Sometimes I completely disagree with her cryptic responses, and other times I agree, but what bothers me is the atte -

Much like the civil rights movement, probably yes. Or anti-war protesters. No problem there, that is their American right. -

OK, that's fine, especially if she is a Catholic. But it is a question that, naturally, seeks a response from the candidate herself. Thanks. Hardly the case. aboortzion laws vary greatly from state to state, especially in recent years. See http://www.guttmacher.org/statecenter/spibs/spib_OAL.pdf for examples. The fact that someone might have a different opinion on the issue than you do does not make them either a hack or ignorant. -

I was definitely glad to read of your conservative beliefs. Does this include aboortzion? What are your views there? Thanks for your time. -

Ms. Morrison, here is a question...were you previously a Democrat? If so, when did you switch to the Republican Party? Thanks. -
