  1. i guess I have been lucky. I have had flatscreens since 2003 and I have never had a problem with any of them.
  2. I am not sure I would ever trust my digestive system or life to eat Jalapeno Joe's. They have failed more health inspections than they have passed.
  3. Actually Bing uses Yahoo as the search back-end, but it is mainly the "intelligent" search features of Bing that makes me use it more than Yahoo or Google. I like being able to get quick answers to flights, travel, and calculations instead of clicking through many links. I also like the way that Bing ties in with Facebook and Twitter much better than the others do as well. This allows me to see reviews my friends have for restaurants first and then other peoples reviews.
  4. I set my default search engine to Bing. The more you search the more points you get an you can cash in those points for gift cards. I have already gotten a couple of months of free XBOX live from it. Plus I find for travel Bing gives you most of the answers without clicking on any additional links. My days of being a Google slave are over I think.
  5. It is all about people hating change. I LOVE the new timeline for the layout, the way i can go back quickly and look at stuff from my past as well as use it as a literal timeline of my life. I guess I am one of the few people that understands that being on Facebook for the most part means my life is an open book. Many people want their cake and eat it too. Use Facebook to air all of the dirt in their life, but when Facebook makes it easier to do that they get scared and complain.
  6. I apologize as I must have gotten lost in the conversation. I have removed that comment since I made an incorrect assumption.
  7. I hope Melissa is able to make it into the position. She is by far one of the nicest women I have known and very intelligent to boot.
  8. GOOOOOO Melissa!!!!! Surepip, I talked to your daughter this morning and let her know I will do anything I can to help get her elected. I am in D19 and will put the biggest banner I can in my front yard on Due West Rd in support. I am excited to hopefully have such a good person as my representative.
  9. Gotcha. Make sure whatever computer you get has a CD drive. None of mine i have purchased lately have them. But I also havent used a CD or DVD in a couple of years.
  10. Buy yourself an iPad and never look back.
  11. PHILLIP PHILLIP PHILLIP!!!!!!!!! My whole house voted by text and online for 20 minutes straight, Phillip all the way.

Let me know if and when you go. I may come see you.
  13. I would recommend a Nook Simple Touch for an E-Ink reader, the Kindle Fire if you are wanting sub $200, but if you are going to spend $200, just find a cheaper iPad and get it. The extra amount of functionality of the iPad, and the fact you can get books from Apple, Kindle, or Nook on it makes it by far the best option.
  14. There are numerous apps you can download to view sites with flash. Most sites have left flash and gone to mobile friendly HTML5. Amazon is one of the only services not to employ this or create a mobile friendly video app.
  15. This is all that you should need. It answers all questions. My link
  16. I LOVED the original Diablo. I never played 2 though. I am considering picking up 3 though. It looks AMAZING.
  17. If any of you ever buy wine, this is great news. Most Grocery stores work on 26-28% on wine. Food Depot works at 10% on wine. This could potentially become the cheapest wine store in Paulding.
  18. This is unreal. I use my Debit/Credit card probably 10 times a day in various online and offline functions and I have never had my number compromised. I hate to hear everyone is having these sort of issues.
  19. Amen to that. I couldn't have said it better myself. Not many, only a few. And America is one of the laughing stocks of the world because our closed minded population continues to live with their eyes closed and believe they aren't hurting anything while destroying our children's future at the same time.
  20. AMEN to both parts. I feel that the demographics and mindset of "Most" of Paulding has progressed to a much different level than those of our Western Neighbors that Heath seems to feel is his constituents. That and the guy is a NUTJOB. I will be interested to see who is the better candidate, but I dont care if they put a poodle on the stage, I would trust its judgement more than Heath.
  21. I use Siri religiously when I am in my car. I moreso use the dictation feature instead of typing as it is easier and more accurate to say a paragraph then to type it. But for Googling something it is much quicker to tell Siri to Google "XYZ" then to unlock, hit safari, press the google bar, type xyz, and hit enter. Also there is no better way to set a reminder or set my alarm then "Siri, remind me when i get home to set the sprinklers" or "Wake me up at 6:30 in the morning". When cooking, I say "set timer for 5 minutes", or "how many cups are in a gallon"
  22. I will be there if for no reason but to show support AGAINST Heath.
  23. To be honest, I do not know many employers that ever look to see what the degree is in, only that you have one.
  24. I guess I am the only person that enjoys the quasi holidays as a reason to get together with friends, have fun, and break up the monotony of daily life. I work hard Monday through Friday and if it were not for looking forward to days off and celebrations we would be a greatly depressed country.
