When do Sunday liquor sales start in Paulding?
Wineguy replied to MissSophie's topic in RECENT TOPICS
As you can tell by my screename Wine is a big part of my life. People know when you come to my house Wine is as much a part of dinner as meat and veggies. I do not usually ever supply spirits as they are a party or enjoyment drink and not a staple of a meal. I was not brought up around alcohol at all, as a matter of fact there was not alcohol in my house EVER at any point. But I make my house like that of other nations and other refined cultures. I never drink more than a glass or two a night, but I do ALWAYS have that and so do most guests at my house. We usually only have bottled water -

It was an issue of invitee number 1 bringing new relationship, invitee number two bringing roomate etc. And part of why they were coming is because I always unveil new wines and beers that will be coming out at my Annual party. Everyone knows I have all you can drink free alcohol and first to the market wines and beers. People come to experience a 30 foot screen and alcohol. I would not be turning them away per se as much as disappointing them and limiting the enjoyment they have come to expect. And before you barrage me with unlimited alcohol and irresponsible comments, Everyone is to -

As such you should plan to not impose your views on others. Why do you feel it is even legal to outlaw something one day a week that is legal the other 6. On what grounds is this acceptable? And by the way there are thousands of instances where planning ahead is not a viable option. Say you are a restaurant who cooks with wine. All of a sudden a CHURCH group comes in after church and wipes you out of a dish that requires wine. You PLANNED to sell 200% more that day but the crowd hit that number by 1pm. You now have no more ingredients. Every other ingredient is available at Kroger, and wine i -

Why should I be subjected to spending extra gas money and restricted choices because a certain religious group is opposed to something. What if we outlawed pork or shellfish in the us because a group of religions are against them, we can just fly to Canada to get them right? Or let's outlaw caffeine since Mormans will not drink it, you can get it in Mexico correct? There is no need to go into the debate again as to why it is absurd to say you should get it on Saturday if you are going to want it on Sunday. Let's look at the amount bought on Super Bowl Sunday as an example. I was able to go t -

I'm not sure where I fall. I agree with letting people live their lives as they wish like Democrats, but don't believe in giving money and benefits to people who refuse to work for them when able out of laziness, as well as I think those benefits given should be monitored for abuse like GOP. I would vote for a Rebublicrat if I could. I guess I fall in that Independant libertarian side. -

That may have been a Sams precaution. The law says 12:30 is the start time. -

Sunday sales in Paulding are only in the city limits of Hiram currently. The city of Dallas and Paulding County as a whole have deemed that it is not important to the citizens and we do not have the right to vote on it tomorrow like most of the rest of the state (Douglas County also doesn't care about its citizens opinions I might add). The best thing you can do is make your voice heard to the county and the city of Dallas. -

Paulding.com hasn't done the free registration on Tapatalk to show up on their network. I have searched roll blue in the face. -
Can I access P.com from forum apps on the iPad or Android?

Y'all are missing my point. I can get to it just fine on safari on the iPad, but if you have ever used tapatalk you will see how much better forums can be on the iPad and iPhone. I use it for all forums but this one. It organized all topics by if read or not, gives great views of images and links. I have a feeling it has to do with all of the ads p.com has as to why they make us use the standard site instesd of the more efficient methods. -
This would be a question for Pubby I guess, but is there anyway to get this board setup with Tapatalk? I use many different Forums like P.com and they all have access through Tapatalk which is an app on iPad, iPhone, Android, Blackberry etc. I know they support IPBoard like this one. Is there any Chance of this? I know many many of the users are now accessing from mobile devices and the structure is very very nice on the app versus trying to use a small screen with the full page. Just figured I would ask as I have had multiple members ask me if there was a better way to view the site

Oh I agree 100% there are hard workers at Kroger. That's my issue, so many of them are not able to be rewarded because of the union system there. If they are treated preferentially or promoted over a more tenured employee, the promotion can be taken away and given to the less qualified but tenured employee. This is the same issue I have with the unemployment and socialistic system. Without incentive of reward there is no desire to go beyond status quo.

I base all of my opinions on first hand working for Unionized companies. I worked for AT&T, where the "Lifer's" were a joke. If you looked at them wrong it was an immediate grievance. Management was scared to ever discipline or talk to employees for fear of being written up or having a grievance filed against them. Status Quo was the name of the game because everyone who was protected by the union knew that it would take 2-4 years to fire them, and they were entitled to 6 months to a year of full pay if they had a doctors note. There was routinely people that were at work under full s

I couldn't have said it better. Kudos

You must have never shopped at a Kroger.

Please tell me you are being sarcastic. Unions are IMHO the biggest cause of the decline of American Jobs. They are the root of the feeling of Entitlement. Every Union employee I have ever met does only what the job calls for and nothing more or less because they are not required to.

To me that is a great thing. I love the taste of Zero so much better.

Correction, You cannot say that about the iPad. 55 Million other people would beg to differ. I could not justify spending $200 dollars on a device that is not as capable as my iPhone, but to pay an extra $300 more for a video game console replacement, laptop replacement, portable presentation device, I am more than able to justify that purchase.
-
All I have to say is that they didnt need an iPad in the first place then as they didnt know how to truly get the most out of it. But for those who don't trust me because I am supposedly drinking some sort of Kool-Aid because I like for things to just work well for my money, here is a great non subjective review. http://tablets-review.toptenreviews.com/apple-ipad-2-p52480-video-2.html

It all comes down to what you are wanting it for. If you want something for a full powered web browser, content creation and a laptop style replacement the iPad will be the one to go with. If you want something just for casual reading and maybe music and basic games the nook or kindle fire should work fine. I would keep your eyes open next week for what the new iPad will offer. http://www.macworld.com/article/165599/2012/02/what_to_expect_at_apples_march_press_event.html

Definitely look at using a large flash drive or external hard drive. Using CD's or even DVD's takes forever and is very expensive, plus they cannot be reused. I keep a 500gb external to back up my hard drive every night.

This is like comparing a Kia Rio to a F150 Super Duty truck. The iPad is a device that allows for content consumption same as the Kindle Fire (reading kindle books, listening to music, reading magazines, renting movies, watching tv shows, playing games, etc), while the Ipad can also be a content creation device as it can let you create and edit Word files, Excel, Powerpoint, edit movies, edit pictures, create full photoshop files and edit them) This is the top level differences, but when you get to a true value standpoint, there is a reason that the iPad is twice as much as the Kindle Fir

I think Santorum is gong to win in so many primaries for this reason. I know so many people that vote for him because he has the LEAST Likely chance to win against Obama. That is what happens in states like ours where you can vote Republican even if you are not registered as one.

I would have to say La Parilla (any of them) or Los Reyes on Chastain. Those are my two favorites.
