You can send the donation to the school or to the central office. Either way its appreciated. I am trying to get a full list of items to post for folks to buy and drop off at the school. If the item is too big let me know and I will come by and pick it up. If someone has these items laying around the garage or shed that would help a bunch.

Generally, Insurance companies will not agree to lower the limits on a home that has a mortgage. Do you own the homes free and clear? If so you will have some options in terms of shopping for new coverage. If you have the mortgage, some companies want to protect the interests of the mortgage company.

I am not going to express an opinion on the matter one way or another. But I should point out that the Federal statutes will pre-empt any states legalizing of marijuana and or trying to make it a low priority for law enforcement. Or in other words, there is too much federal money tied up in the war on drugs.

HOA's are only as good as the people that run them. If done properly they can be good tools. Unfortunatley the majority of them are mismanaged.

For the most part, we don't really know what all the rules will be. The enabling legislation states that the Charter Commission will apropriate rulles and regulations once the amendment passes. Most think the Commission will operate along the same lines as the old one but it has yet to be determined.

I will do my best to answer some of the questions. Fist let me say that I support the right of the citizens to vote on the issue. 1. Charter schools are not set up or equipped to take all children. Most charter schools are structured around parental involvement. Thus if a child has no parents to be involved in the school they would not be a fit. 2. It is super important to get out and vote today. Turn out matters in local elections so call and email everyone you know and ask them to stop by after work and vote. Oh, and thank you to all of the candidates who ran for office. Win or lose you enhanced the process and made our community better for it.
