That was sickening to read.

If it doesn't work when I plug it into the wall and turn the power on, I'm out of tricks. It's still plugged in the same way it was before I cancelled my home phone. I have to confess that I upped my internet speed when I turned off the home phone.

I got mine replaced with State Farm, no problem, but my damage was huge and there were leaks. I found a contractor I trusted first (guy from my church) and he met with the adjuster. Quotes are useless. The insurance company has an amount they will pay. You don't get to keep any extra.

If you're looking at all the touristy things to do, consider the CityPass. Even if you don't go to all of the places, it may still save you big. http://www.citypass.com/atlanta -
My modem is plugged into the wall. I called AT&T and told them I wanted DSL w/o a home phone and they did it.

Something similar happened to me on PCOM. I watched a thread develop about a plane crash at the drag strip a few years ago, and even participated in the thread, only to find out later that the pilot fatality was one of my best friends. -
I may or may not own a pair of Wonder Woman underroos. I think I got them at Khols.

I seem to be spending more than saving lately....

I probably would have been arrested if this were me. And I would for sure make certain that I made it on the 5 o'clock news.

Why does the airline attendant have the right to ask the young man to pull up his pants? Is there a law in this part of the country about exposing underoos? I was out and about yesterday and saw every bit of a chick's bra and then every bit of a dude's underbritches. If girlies isn't asked to cover her goods, dude shouldn't be either. 10,000 curses to anyone telling me how to dress.

Friend off mime off of Hiram Sudie had a tree hit next to his house. Big mess.

I think many of the people who are "grossed" by this would do the same.

I'd huff and puff and blow the thing down....... Or I'd make sure the heat isn't causing pieces to swell......and try it in the middle of the night.

Saw them at the publix in mirror lake yesterday.

I think he would, but I also think he would provide for his wife in it. I wouldn't need the whole estate, a couple mil wouldn't even put a dent in it.

I'm not going to lie.....I'd be in it for the money....he's going to die soon.

Buzzkill. This should be a poll so that it will never die. Did you "look inside" ?

The House that Crack Built Best part? The "people who bought this book also bought......." section.

I downloaded a book by Ellen and she was reading it. It was a series of short stories. HER reading her own stories was HAL-LARIOUS! I've only had "good" readings of books-on-tape if it's the author reading it. Though, I hope to never spend enough time in my car as to finish an entire book.

Techinally it's LISTENING instead of READING (if you were in elem school, the difference would matter).....but I would count it, because you still had to conjure up the images in your head, rather than some Hollywood goon doing it for you.

Temper-pudic? If a wine glass isn't bothered by someone jumping on the bed, then you shouldn't be able to tell he's moving and bed jiggling will cease. Theoretically.

Who's fault would this be? Doctor/Chiro Office situation...

A doctor would only once strap me to a table and leave. -
I hooked up a computer to my tv and I'm not looking back.
