Those of you with stress issues...i need suggestions
adam&jessica replied to sharee.smith's topic in RECENT TOPICS
A half shot of captain morgan does me great when I'm stressed. You just have to make sure you stop after that much. -
Ours will do it too. Literally all night.
-
Our Dr. said to get over it.

do you live or know anyone who lives on King Arnold Drive?

True. And if I hear your kids running up and down the stairs at my apt at 11pm, that means you need to go out and get them. Oh, and on the subject of dogs, if your dog barks constantly, and you live in an apt, don't put it in the bedroom right above someone else who is trying to sleep. -
I don't have AVG in front of me to tell you exactly how to do it, but basically, when antivirus finds a virus, it quarantines it, and sends it to the vault. You need to empty it. If you click the AVG icon in your desktop tray, somewhere on there should be an option to delete those quarantined viruses.

Yeah, I would cut them down a bit. My kids both sleep alot better if I run them all day, and they skip the nap. The other option, if you are really at your wits end, is to use this: http://www.gnc.com/product/index.jsp?productId=2419180&kwCatId= Works great on our youngest. Just do a squirt or two on their tongue, and it's lights out.

I certainly see how it could be constructive, but I've never experienced that kind.

Why are we becoming a society of pill poppers?

I dont' think anyone was talking about people like you, who really need the medications, and don't abuse them. They are talking about people who dr shop, and are basically drug addicts, and don't have the ongoing pain. Like my exwife, who works at a mental hospital, and has prescriptions for the maximum dosages of clonopin, ambien, and prozac, all without ever seeing a dr who actually treats her, and all without having any diagnosis. There is absolutely nothing wrong with her. She gets the rx from the dr's that she works with, I don't ask what she does to get them, but I can guess. If you -

This counts for your kids too. If you can't keep them inside at night, then get rid of them. -
I'm confused.

Clearwater is very nice. I'd highly recommend deep sea fishing if you've never gone, it's so much fun.

I would call the sheriff's office, tell them whats going on, and ask if an officer can run over next time they are in the area to tell them that it is private property, and they don't need to be trespassing. Then put a few of those wild life cams up, and spraypaint the boundary line, so it's visible to the camera. If you've got video proof of them trespassing, maybe they can do something about it.

What part of Florida are you going to be in?

Have you tried doing a system restore?

I'd put up a trespassers will be shot sign, or call the cops next time I saw them on my property. Or put up a fence.

This is a good point. If the survey you were provided at purchase of the property showed everything being on your land, you can sue the previous owner, builder, and probably the survey company. This same thing happened to my dad, only in reverse about 4 years ago. He found out the previous owner had sold off a portion of the lot we lived on to the people next door, because the builder had built too far over towards our property, and part of the driveway and a corner of the garage would have been on our land. Then, when we bought it, he used the old survey, and moved the survey pins. The survey

We've tried this with ours as well, but he screams when we put him back in bed, and hops right back out. We counted 40 times once that we put him back. The only things that calm him down is sleeping in our bed, which I despise, or being allowed to stay up and play, but he won't play by himself, so we have to stay up with him.
-
Ours climbs over the gate as well.
-
I was a firm believer in this until we had our youngest, he will continue to cry literally all night if necessary to get attention.
-
Our son does it too, though he never slept through the night. He decides at 3am that he's ready to get up and play. Don't know why. It can be very frustrating, usually we just have to keep putting him back in his bed for a long time.

I've seen plenty of cottonmouths in Rome, none here though. I'm glad too, I could live forever without seeing another one.
-
Cicadas? We do have snakes around. I haven't seen any rattle snakes, but I did find a copperhead and a few non venomous snakes in the woods off due west a while ago, when I was helping clear out a patch. I'd be careful, especially about cottonmouths and timber rattlers (I think those are in paulding?), I hate those fricking things.

Jessica's mom and stepdad went, and her mom got puked on by some kid who didn't look old enough to drink. Then the kid passed out, woke up, denied puking, then puked all over the entire section, or so I am told. Never talked to them when they left, but I told them to go grab security and an usher, and get the kid tossed out, and try to get their money back, or comp tickets to another game, since they werent' able to actually watch this one.
