Dang ... Paulding's roads look better than Peachtree St in Atlanta
cherokeewoman replied to gpatt0n's topic in RECENT TOPICS
Depends on what road you live on Pubby... Atlanta has had a hard time keeping up with all this with their 30 trucks, they would clear an area then it would freeze again... Sometimes a neighbor will scrape the local roads if they have something to do it with. Our area is still icy.. no sun no thaw... -

cherokeewoman replied to em1973's topic in RECENT TOPICS
They say not to use peroxide, it just makes the tissue soft, use alcohol or go to Claire's and get some of their cleaning products. -

cherokeewoman replied to lowrider's topic in RECENT TOPICS
Joy is a very liberal loud mouth ....itch... She runs her mouth, let her give up something... she is spoiled.... I do not like her, sometimes I turn off the View because of her, Barbara should can her like she did Rosie... -
Surepip - I think most believe that it is a person's choice and should not be government mandated... the government has to much control over our lives, the federal goverment was not set up to do this and they should have no control over my life. My choices should be my choices, the should not mandate I have to eat certain thing, I have to have health insurance(I do)), they should not mandate in old age if I want to try to live or die.... that is a person's choice not the goverment. There should be less government control in all our lives.... it is not their job or place. That was not what th

cherokeewoman replied to whitewitch369's topic in RECENT TOPICS
I have a bouncy thing, it does not make music, it may vibrate, not sure- been a while since we used it, it has a screen cover for the outside... I have a swing, may have some blankets, will have to look. What type of bottles are being used? Have some stuff in the basement, will have to look thru it. Don't think these will be needed anymore. -
Surepip - she is a beautiful child and I am sure you don't spoil her a bit.... isn't being a grandparent a grand thing? God gave us blessings when he gave us grandchildren, it is a different, but unique kind of love....you just can't describe it.

The Whiter Your Bread The Faster You're Dead
cherokeewoman replied to Eddie Bennett's topic in RECENT TOPICS
Postman - the grandkids have always had wheat bread at my house, no complaint... They also love carrot sticks and celery stick with a little ranch dressing.... They love fruit... apples, grapes, watermelon, pineapple, etc.... Eating healthy is more expensive, which is sad.. so many can't afford it. -
Do Georgia Doctors Have Our Best Interest At Heart
cherokeewoman replied to Eddie Bennett's topic in RECENT TOPICS
Postman - When I was a kid we had a family doctor, probably one of few in the small town we lived in... but if you were sick you came to his house after hours.. Now in a doctors group, if I am sick, I will go to the Immediate care at New Hope, cause if you are sick can you get an appointment? Good luck. Family doctors are not like they use to be.... they are still good doctors, but times have changed. Next year for us will be different, we had to go to Kaiser, not a choice we liked, but had to. All doctors feel challenged now, and I understand, with the Obama Care coming in... I can agre -

Gipper Girl - glad you have become your own person, you seem to have found happiness. I have always it seems to live in a world within my own means... we do not do without, but we don't rush out and buy the new, the best of whatever is popular... My proiroties are different than most... I do not like to owe money.... I have a comfortable home, land and no vehicle payments... just looking after homeowners insurance and property taxes, is a burden... but I know they come due.... and they are paid. My cell phone, can not get on the internet... my tv is not a 52 inch flat screen... this matter -
Triple mom - if this was a group pratice your records should be available... We had a doc in Douglasville -a private pratice, that records were requested and they wanted a good amount of money to release them, to me was wrong, she went out of business, the records should have been forwarded to another doctor.... good luck.

My biggest gift was wonderful family time, the grandkids opening gifts with paper flying everywhere, they were so excited this Chistmas... this was the most peaceful, happy, family Christmas I can remember... I have a new wonderful camera that takes shots in seconds, a cozy pair of flannel pj's, which were needed the last few days... so many things, but the best was the time spent with family, watching the grandkids opening their gifts... then to boot a White Christmas......everyone healthy... and remembering the ones lost this year....

Prays sent for the family a fellow fallen officer... How we take them for granted, but they do their job with no hesitation every day never knowning if they will return home or not... We complain about them, but they all put their lives on the line every day for our saftey. May he rest in peace. May his family find peace knowing he served well. Prayers for them.

bella princess - she left her passwords in a book right next to the computer, I heard on the news, so if she had somehting to hid, she should have hid her passwords, not made them readily available. I have my hubby's email and password, I set them up for him, I have to go into his email at times when he calls to check things for him.... we have trust and no hidden agendas... -

cherokeewoman replied to subby1's topic in RECENT TOPICS

My tree is down, the needles were sheeding, and I needed the room, and per my Mom it has to come down before January 1st...... that was the way I was raised and that is the way i do it. I also do not wash clothes on New Years Day, according to my Mom it will wash someone out of your life. It almost did my sister... wives tales or traditions, I will follow what my Mom said.
