Call would have come through already if delayed or closed.....Hubby left at 6:15 as usual, and he hasn't called to advise of anything other than wet roads. I'm pretty sure school will be regular hours today. In fact, as I type, the Special Needs bus is on regular time to pick up neighbor's son......

Good Morning to you as well...while not looking forward to the snow tonight, I am looking forward to making today a great day!! :yahoo:

If its from the ag dept...it looks like a hand seeder. I've seen seeders that you place seeds in top and wheel dollows row dropping seeds at intervals. That sort looks like a smaller version. Do I get a prize for trying to sound like I know what I'm talkin bout?

I went to Israel in 07: you can visit the temple mount area, but cannot enter the dome of the rock. You can purchase postcards for pictures of the inside of the building for a couple of dollars. Because the are is controlled by the muslim faith, it is advisable not to wear any christian symbolic jewelry. Be careful to obey all signs/postings, and you do have to go thru security checkpoints. You may take cameras and photos, but they will search any bags you carry. Also, don't fall for the little kids begging for money....they have a "hustler adult" that looks like a tourist with a camera/video

So, would you call that a Braxton-Hacks contraction?

Family friendly posting you can take a corner of a rubix cube apart (if it's difficult to rotate) and apply some vaseline to help rotate easier.

I was watching channel 5 this am, and the gdot spokesperson had a good point....there are 1800 miles of roads that they care for in metro atl, and 45 trucks. I'd say those are some rough odds! I'm working from home - via email - but better to be home safe than to try to get out on roads that may or may not be clear. Even if they "look" clear and have been salted, they are not always safe.

Ok - I agree with NY Gal...my husband has been cloned when t comes to the re-re-re-re-re-re-re-watching movies! The Bourne Trilogy - am sick of it. Old Westerns - ugh! Worse yet is the fact that HE doesn't remember watching a lot of the movies...my kids and I can recall scenes in the movies/plot, and he swears he's never seen it! Drives me crazy! Oh, and don't get me started on Forrest Gump......

A bunch of folks from my church, Christ Central - Dallas, go there. The owners are wonderful people! Their classes start very early in the morning - like 5 or 530, and last ones are around 530 in evening. sidenote: Pastor's wife has lost over 100 lbs since starting there earlier in the year (like Feb?) and Pastor of Worship Arts has lost close to 100 lbs.

I'm sorry...you're who?

Took dog outside at 7am. I'm at Brownsville Rd n 92 area. S/d road seems clear...saw one truck drive by, but haven't heard any other vehicle since. Not sure what Tidwell Rd is like - it always ices badly. The wind is terrible though!! If you head out, you'd better be sure to bundle up and cover the ears!

What happened to R & R? Everyone raved about the place, but I never see cars or anything...and I don't recall seeing a thread about it closing?

Is it a vent free gas fireplace? If so, as long as you keep the pilot on and the setting low, it should be okay. If you have a window that you can slightly crack for safety, it's better. We have a vent free in our converted garage game room, and the kids have spent a good bit of time out there with the heat turned up high watching movies on netflix and playing wii.

SS - My version is pretty close: 1 lb container bbq beef 1 lb container bbq chicken 1 lb container bbq pork 1 large can of crushed tomatoes 1 - 2 cans of creamed corn 1 - 2 cans of diced potatoes mix all in pot, add approx 2 cups water (add enough to your preference), you can add veg-all if you like all the veggies - I have several in my house that don't like peas or cooked carrots. Simmer for about 20-30 mins - serve and enjoy.

DD was on the bus. It's for HHS. She called me and said she saw the whole thing - start to finish.....her version - It was great! The kid that started it got hisself an attitude check! No SO was called that I know of...no escort to detention...not even sure that they took names. But the kids were sure entertained. -
OMG!! This is too funny!! But mama always taught me that I need to come by my things the honest way....I really needed this laugh - Thanks so much for posting this!! I set out traps for my 'possums!!!

You're not alone....I work for a larger corp, and we had only one increase - on a dental hmo. Of course no raises, no 401k match, but we are still working, so I am grateful for that. -
http://gharveyusa.com/ here's another link to try - I did a search on comcast.net the guy above is located in douglasville - I tried to post a copy of the image I found, but couldn't get it to work. It's a pic of a birdhouse!

Sounds like you were a fly on the wall in my house...both DDs decided they wanted to go to WM at 11:15, then Kohl's (line met at Target line at left side of Target building), tried Staples - walked in then right out empty-handed, then JCP. Sausage gravy biscuits from Martin's. Home at 8:25.

I have Verizon....and if you have a partial billing, activation charges, insurance, unlimited data access, plus your plan cost - the first bill or bill that reflects changes made in the middle of a month...it can be sticker shock. I would either go into the store so an associate can fully explain the breakdown of charges, or call the 800 # for a customer service rep. Something else to look at - on the website check to see if your employer participates in the employer discount program. If you first bill was $70 more than expected - it's usually the activation charge ($35 per phone). But I
