We stayed at the Mansion on Forsyth. It was beautiful and away from the hustle and bustle. You can probably get a room for just under $200/night

We are having grilled steaks and grilled eggplant -
We has lunch here today. I had a Cuban sandwich and my husband had the ropa vieja plate with rice and beans. It was delicious

I'm not sure that's accurate. As others said, research and development is expensive. You also have to consider the costs to the companies from all the lawsuits they face. A good friend of mine is in house counsel for a large drug manufacturer, and spends her days defending lawsuits. The minute someone decides to sue bc they got a headache from taking a drug, the cost is unfortunately passed on to the consumer.

I remember exactly when I joined. September 2009. My husband was living down here and I was still up north in ny, and he was flying home after visiting me for a couple of days. He flew home on sunday night of the weekend the floods started. i logged on here to see about road closures. I remember being in a state of panic that he wouldn't make it home. I remember texting Wendy while he was still in flight. Luckily, he made it home safely.

A Have you tried merles's BBQ on 61? They have the most delicious homemade ranch dressing (and their food is good too)

We eat our meat different temps so it usually doesn't work. Medium rare for me and medium well for him, so if just works out easier this way ..lol

Tomorrow we are grilling steaks. I go to Kroger and have them cut a standing rib roast into steaks for me. The steaks are delicious.

Guilty as charged. I make a menu for the week and then I buy my ingredients. I don't plan my weekly menu based on what's on sale. I count myself fortunate that I can do it this way.

We're going to cook a regular dinner on Thursday but my husband has promised me that he will turn his cell phone off between 7:00 and 10:00 p.m. :-) We'll celebrate on Saturday. I'm going to go to DeKalb Farmer's market and pick up lobster or crab legs. We still haven't decided.

So we ate lunch here today. Food was very good and prices were reasonable. Our only complaint is it took 45 minutes to get our food. I guess it didn't help that we went during a very busy time. We will most likely go back in a few weeks when the growing pains are over and maybe at a less popular time.

We have Verizon and have no issues with coverage. We live in paulding my husband commutes to Atlanta and I drive all over nw Georgia. Coverage is great.. We have unlimited texts and minutes and have an 8g plan for data. We have two iPhones, two iPads, and a mobile wifi hotspot on our plan. We don't come close to using all of our data but I don't want to lower it bc I don't want to be worried about using data. All in with taxes and all the other things they add to it, our bill is $248 a month. I think it would be $20 less if I lowered the data to 6g.

My dog tore up some of my outdoor couch cushions. Someone on here recommended a woman named Chris. She has fixed my pillows twice for me. She is in my phone as Chris pillow repair. Lol. I think she is in east paulding. If you are interested you can pm me and I'll give you her phone number

I love aria. I recently went to bacchanalia and to be honest, I preferred the food at aria. If you want to travel to Atlanta there is a wonderful Italian restaurant in midtown called pasta de pucinella. It's in a cozy house and has a wonderful atmosphere. I also live love love veni vidi viche. Canoe and blue ridge grill in Buckhead are wonderful. A little closer to home I love the Vinnings inn in vinnings. Rathbuns is a great pace but loud and not a romantic atmosphere (but the food is great) . I also really like aspens in west Cobb.

Your post made me smile. Where in ny are you from? I have eaten in cafe bocci many times. I grew up in Brooklyn and one of my sisters now lives in bellmore

Lol. So far so good. I told him that car was dead to me bc it broke down twice while I was in it. But now it's fixed so I have no excuse.

It depends on where your job is, hours, etc. my husband commutes downtown every day and drives. He takes Thornton road to 20 and doesn't have to get on 75. Takes about an hour. The bus that leaves from the moves wasn't an option for him because the last bus leaves at 530 and he works later than that. If your job is not during normal hours and you can avoid rush hour you can make it downtown in 40 minutes.

We are grilling. Smoked pork chop from Patak's for me. Brats for my husband. Probably roast or steam cauliflower.
