We had meatloaf, mashed potatoes, green bean casserole & cheesy rotini with broccoli.

The music not only breaks up the silence, but it's much more soothing than the TV.

With my middle son, I found that soft classical music worked well to put him to sleep... and helped him to stay asleep. I used a CD player with auto repeat so it would play all night.

We had shish kabobs... marinated beef, chicken, pineapple, mushrooms, red onion, grape tomatoes, jalapenos, green, red & yellow bell peppers... with brown rice

I have 2 boys that started kindergarten at age 4. Neither had any problems at all keeping up... and I actually found that this school system is slow for them. It would have been a big mistake for me to hold them back a year... they've already gotten bored. What it really boils down to, is the individual child. No ones knows, better than you, if your child is ready.

As a Mom of 3 boys, I can understand your feelings. I too, thought I wanted a little girl. Now, I wouldn't change a thing. I love having all boys. The sibling connection is awesome too. They love having brothers... and best friends. They've always enjoyed sharing toys and ideas. I can understand the mother-daughter relationship, as well... as I live 600 miles from my Mother. At this point, I just look forward to the possibility of Granddaughters some day. To be quite honest, I really don't think me and my husband are equipped to even deal with a daughter.
