Be nice the JG fans, they can get touchy. My neighbor is a huge JG fan and I was joking with him about JG being a little light in the loafers and he got so upset he went in his house and told his boyfriend to go outside and beat me up. Nah, you payed your money, pull for who you want. -
Nah, you didn't piss me off. I was cranky when I read it the 1st time and I typed some things that were rude, not to do with you personally, but just in general. I try and not be ugly because someone has a different opinion than I do. (no matter how wrong it is) I always try and remember that whoever is on the other end is a real person and that if I wouldn't say it to their face, I don't need to type it here. (I fall short sometimes) So anyway, I tried to exercise my crankyness and put a little humor in it. The cranky came through but I guess the humor fell short. The only thing that r

Not insulted, just didn't buy it. In fact, I have found the exact opposite to be true. For example how can the conservatives be "cold" and "only care about themselves and the rich" if they operate on emotion. Unless the point is that conservatives have no heart and are selfish and self centered. I started to say some things in the other post that were not nice, but couldn't stop my fingers, so I deleted and re-typed what you saw.

I am so glad that when I was doing my drinking and driving, many many years ago, they was a whole lot less people and stuff to hit. I would hate to have been the one who hurt or killed someone else because I was impaired. (not an issue any more) If I promise not to drive, can someone hook me up with a dilaudid drip. Had it for a kidney stone and again for a throat operation and it was GREAT. Made me love everyone and everything. You can have my car keys and after the drip starts I will probably give you my car. My wife said when we checked out from the hospital with the kidney stone,

how to pronounce Mein Mitchell Road?
cookies are sweet replied to MissSophie's topic in RECENT TOPICS
Keep in mind that my mother and most of her brothers and sisters, good southern country folk, say bum when they are speaking about a bomb. Also crick when speaking about a creek. Cappercheener when ordering a cappuccino. A friend from TN used to love those jaylopano peppers. (spelled the way he said it) Not making fun of anyone, just the way it goes. I know there were things in Forsyth county, where my mom's family is from, that were pronounced one way correctly but most of the county pronounced it the southern way, which was not correct, but was the way it was pronounced there. -
The questions do vary somewhat if you take it a 2nd time. At least mine did and because of that, I had a lower % for Romney and the American People.

I always thought it was spelled Margaret and pronounced MAR-gret. But then I could just be whistling in the wind. -
Romney 95% Foreign Policy, Healthcare, Social & Economic issues Paul 72% Immigration, Healthcare, Economic Issues Johnson 65% Healthcare, Economic Issues Goode 65% Immigration, Healthcare, Social & Economic issues Obama 63% Foreign Policy American Voters 54% Foreign Policy, Enviromental, Science, Healthcare, Social & Economic issues Huh, maybe the country isn't in as bad of shape as I thought, if 54% of the voters agree with me.

Maybe 96 Rock wasn't there. Back then I saw a lot that wasn't there. -
Tequila! Nuff said.

This is not as uncommon as you may think. In fact it is apparently very common. Just go to any book store and look in the Self Help section and you will find dozens of books dedicated to helping you "find yourself". Must be a lot of "lost" people out there looking for themselves.

I remember 96 Rock when they sponsored the Chattahochee Raft Race, back in the early 70's. Now that was a lot of fun, as best as I remember. Of course the music they played then would be oldies today. For those who were there or those who just want to read about it here is a link to an article from Jay Busbee on the Raft Race. Preschooler Told to Change the Way He Signs His Name

One time I was behind an older couple (this was when I was in my 20's, so they would have been soemwhere in their 50's) at a red light. I noticed that both were facing each other and signing quite quickly and strenuously. I was behind them after the light changed and they keep this up until we stopped at the next light. I thought to myself, this is a deaf couple they are having a major fight. About that time the lady, made quite few signs very forcefully and followed them up by shooting the man the bird. Yep, it was fight and it appeared she won. -
