I am male and I find it very rude for someone who doesn't know me to refer to me as Dude. I am not to thrilled when someone I do know uses it. I know it is the slang of today and it used regardless of the age of the person speaking and the sex or age of the person they are speaking to. But I still do NOT like it. This seems happens in all generations. In my day, I had many friends who called their mothers "man". Example: "Hey man, what's for dinner?" Now I understand why my parents got upset about us using "man" back in the 60's. I guess payback is heck, huh.

In my opinion, with a few exceptions, there has been a bomb in almost every theater in the country since 1980. That bomb is the movie that is playing.

My wife needed some Benadryl for the yellow fly bites she got when we were in the Okefenokee. To my knowledge, this is the 1st or maybe the 2nd time either of us have bought Benadryl. We now have 400 tabs of Benadryl thanks to Sam’s. (yep that is 400) I know this is a shock, but I checked and there isn’t a huge demand for this on the streets. But if the end comes and Benadryl becomes like food, water, tobacco, liquor and whatever else was mentioned for trade, we are set. (and then I will never hear the end of it)

Oh I know your not anti gun, I never ever thought that. The first and last paragraphs were meant as humor, though the Sam's part is totaly true. The middle part, is why I own guns and currently have more ammo at this time than I normally would have. It was not meant as a direct responce to your post. I was using your line about what the good guys look like to try and insert a small amount of humor.

Holy Crap! I barely got through high school math and that before they started that new math. I never did find that common denominater. After reading this post, I'm guessing, based on my past experiences with customer (no) service reps, that you must have put your 30 years in that job. Either customer (no) service or in telemarketing or in collections. Those people always seem to get real mad when things do not go the way they want them to. Along the lines of the cash left at the grocery store topic, I have a couple of questions concerning going to the movies. I was talking with a friend who I consider to be an honest person and he advised me that he and his wife went to the movies recently and after seeing the movie they had bought the tickets for, they walked down to another movie and went in and watched that one. In many large cities bicycle theft is a major issue. In fact quite often the city will run sting operations with a "bait" bike. They take a bike and lean it against a wall and wait, soon someone will come along and take the bike. Invariably the bicycle thief says the same thing every time they are caught. I thought it was strange when the judge that presided over my divorce said at the end; "you are now free to remarry". But then I remembered the guy sitting next to me waiting his turn before the judge to get his divorce.
