I went to Smyrna, but I certainly remember Fitzhugh Lee and Oakdale well. -
I used to love to go to the Mello Mushroom on Roswell Rd. or Peachtree St. in the 70's and early 80's. Good times.

I heard it a little different. Neal wanted to say when stepping on the moon; "this one is for you Mr. Gorsky!", but NASA made him say the one small step quote. The reason Neil was going to say this one is for you Mr. Gorsky was because Mr. Gorsky wanted "special" sex and Mrs. Gorsky was supposed to have said; only when man walks on the moon. Either way it's funny. This one is for you Neal.

Both stews were GREAT and it was nice to meet surpip and his family as well as the rest of the crowd. As always it it was nice to see Melissa's again. As I said both stews were great and it was a close call, I would hate to live on the difference, but do to a little more broth, I have to pick LPPT as my winner. Thank you for the food, the company and for your efforts on trying to make Paulding County a better place. -
Give him a break. He found something he was good at and like they say, if you're good at something keep doing it. I know quite a few people that once they got arrested the first time, found they were good at it and they made a career out of it.

One of the biggest things most celebs hate is being disturbed while eating. It can start a chain reaction and there goes dinner.

Congratulations! 1958 was a good year, you finished high school and I started life. -
I was thinking of Asa Candler. And no, if this is correct, I did not look it up. If it is incorrect, you already know I didn't look it up.

Please thank him for his service to our country for our family. Wife's son is AF, grandkids mom is AF and wife's son-in-law is Marines. So we know how you feel.

Thank you on both counts, it does mean a lot to me. Hos ring is a lot smaller than ours or the ones they have nowdays. I had a 20 something look at it, see the 1944 on it and say; wow, you graduated in 1944! I prefer to think that she had trouble with math rather than the alternative. -

I am not sure if you told me about your dad going to SHS. But I wasn't kidding about the 8th graders driving to Nash. I knew a couple that did, they parked at the ballfield. Like the man said; 8th grade was tough, all three times. -
Did he also so make a very fine soda?

So far you lead with the earliest graduation date. My dad graduated from Smyrna High School in 1944. He wore his ring his senior year and then went into the army and never wore it again. After he passed, I had it sized and I now wear a Smyrna High ring. -

Ahhh, good old Nash. Where kids in the 8th grade were driving to school. No "parent passing" back then. -

Glad you posted, it's nice to have someone else who remembers the Beatles when they were together. By the way, we are like fine wine, we only get better with age. (of course this bottle has a lot of aches and pains it didn't used to have) -
I hate the term Smynings. Even my mother uses it. Oh well, as my grandfather used to say; "They can change the names of the roads and everything else all they want. I'm not learning any new names."

We have already kinda started this in another thread, but I thought it might need it's own topic. Campbell High Class of '76

Willie B was born in 1958.
