  1. Are you moving to South Dakota or Soth Dakota. (sorry, I couldn't stop my fingers from typing it)
  2. Glad you are here. I understand about wanting to be part of the grandkid's life. Ours are in Japan for 3-4 yrs (military mom) and I am just happy the wife isn't insisting that we move there for the next few years. (oh, she mentions it, she just doesn't insist) Sound like you have a good attitude, so you should adjust as well as can be expected. But I will tell you now, the food is not what you get back home. Good news!!! We don't have a clue what a snow shovel or a snow blower is.
  3. Wow, that is unbelievable. (but it is a cool picture)
  4. I haven't tried it, so I can't help. But I have to ask, how in the heck did you get from Buffalo to Hiram? Make a wrong turn in Albuquerque? Welcome.
  5. I must have the dumbest radon around, my inspector said it failed the test "big time".
  6. Glad all are ok. But that is a call that will live on in your family for a long long time. And in time (after the driveway is fixed) it will become funnier and funnier. But again, that is in the future.
  7. I just happened to have a connection to Oprah through a good friend. Last night I was able to obtain her personal cell phone number. I called her and told her my name and I also told her that I didn't care for her. Her response? "Who is this again?" I told her again who I was and then she said, "Never heard of you.", and hung up. How rude is that? Never heard of me, humpff, doesn't she know I am legend in my own mind?
  8. That is only because she does radiate class and kindness.
  9. The first pcommer I met that I didn't already know was pubby. I went to meet him expecting to not really like him, even though I had been told he was a very likable guy, but I ended up spending a couple of hours talking with him. (he truly is a very likable guy) I also met LPPT that same day and she was super nice. I then MrsSurepip like a day or so later and (like myself) MrSurepip is a lucky guy. I knew Countyline before I joined pcom, he was the reason I joined. I also had met Subby once before pcom, he had put a fuel hose on a weed eater for me. I also knew Citizen Cain, Glassdo
  10. Remember when the guy down the street could fix your car? Good luck.
  11. Double Indemnity is on now. A classic movie, the movie that the term "film noir" was invented for, literally. I haven't seen that one, I will have to keep an eye out for it.
  12. On Turner Classic Movies, Murder He Said starring Fred MacMurry. It is a fun time for the whole family.
  13. Put em in boxcars and ship em back. Break into my house, take a chance on getting killed. It should be the same for my country. (wow, I'm in a bad mood tonight)
  14. Emmitt Till. Great tragedy. Emmitt Till's mother, great lady, very brave.
  15. Yes it is an offer. But I will sadly have to turn it down.
  16. I have two (2) tickets for this Thursday night's 8pm game at the GA Dome. Falcons vs Bengals The seats are in Section 134, Row 3, Seats 15 & 16 For a virtual view of where these seats are, visit this link: http://vsv.atlantafalcons.com/#/p_134_1/ The tickets are $139 each, but I am open to a buy one get one deal. Make me an offer.
  17. Difference between a alcoholic and an addict. If you let an addict live with you, they will steal your TV and sell it for drugs. A drunk won't steal your TV, they will just fall into it and break it while in a drunken stupor. Either way, you're out a TV.
