  1. I never saw the show except an occasional rerun but my mom and dad loved it. RIP to the actor.
  2. And I'm pulling that late shift, first day back. Arrrrgh!
  3. I have posted on here before about the importance of getting your flu shot, but if you haven't gotten your penmonia shot and are in one of the high risk groups, please take care of that this week. It is nothing to trifle with.
  4. Saw where he passed away. Old school music that I enjoyed a bit.
  5. I only work on these type of things from the medical side, answering questions and such. But I promise you that you need a lawyer. Don't even think about doing this on your own.
  6. I can't remember the last time I was in downtown Dallas since we moved to the new hospital. There is a BBQ place near the stop light that has good brisket. Of course, the BBQ across from the old hospital is really good. That's about all I can think of that is there.
  7. Breakfast for dinner. Fast and easy. Kids are out for the break so I need this to be an easy night. I've got 2 more shifts then off for a week. Flu shots, people. Get those flu shots.
  8. http://www.twosouthernsweeties.com/?p=1077 Damn straight! I'm not yet 50 and I'm still working on some of these but these are right on the money!
  9. I see a lot of the results of motorcycle accidents. Please, everyone. Be careful!
  10. Honey Baked ham. Fruit plate. Different cheese. Different breads. Some sides that the rest of the family will bring. Ice cream. Coffee and hot chocolate and soft drinks. Lots of pictures.
  11. You can always use a NP at one of the Urgent Care centers. If it is a scratch on the cornea, we would prescribed the drops and tell you to use a patch if necessary.
  12. Odd but stranger things have happened!
  13. You mean the whole thing? Somebody stole the whole outside decorations? That's bold.
  14. Is there a reason for Roswell? Just asking.
  15. My parents use one of those UPS stores for their mailing address. My husband has been telling me for years he thinks we should do that. Just an idea.
  16. When people are poor, insurance is one of the first things to go from the budget. The highest cost of care is emergency services and it is the most inefficient. Sadly that is where the poorest get most of their care but it doesn't solve their problem or prevent the issues.
  17. Is this something they do every year? First I've heard of it. I see where it says "annual" so I assume it is done every year,
  18. I asked my parents about it and they said they had heard of Soap Sally but they don't know of how it came about.
  19. Lake Blackshear has both a resort and cabins. There is a scenic railway there, too.
  20. https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/post-nation/wp/2016/12/04/florida-man-made-pulse-style-massacre-threats-against-church-that-welcomes-sick-homosexuals/?utm_term=.7abe705fb882 Thankfully this radical terrorist was stopped before attacking innocent Americans.
  21. Appararently the policies were priced too low to cover the costs of care. For people that think the premiums were too high and the policy didn't do much sure don't have a clue how much health care costs. These are the same people who refuse to buy insurance and will then do a GoFund me page or force the people who did buy insurance to pay for their lack of planning. When welfare people do that these same people call them leeches. Figure that one.
  22. I don't know you personally (at least, I don't think I do) but I promise you that the medical community does know a lot about PTSD. If this is going on in your world, you need to come in and let's get some help. We can help but we can't if you don't let us.
