Anyone recommend a kind/compassionate childs dentist in Hiram?
stercus tauri replied to guardian's topic in RECENT TOPICS
I'm thinking you misread this. MetroDerm is dermatology, not dentistry. No one uses "laughing gas" for a mole removal but instead a local anesthesia would be appropriate. Only for patients with extreme anxiety would anything different be used, and then it would an intravenous injection. -
Totally love Starbucks.

Redistribution of wealth is the American way
stercus tauri replied to gpatt0n's topic in RECENT TOPICS
Where did that come from? I do know we have profiteering laws but whether this is a coercive monopoly or not is something the legal eagles can figure out. I just believe this sort of thing is disgusting for somebody to do to other people just because they can. Jacking up the price on life saving things to gouge people who have no other option is not what decent human beings do. -

What does it matter that her father is a politician? It is on her. Personal responsibility. She is disgusting. -
She did a despicable thing. Upping the price on life saving medication just because you can is disgusting. What does the fact her father is a politician have to do with it? You are not responsible for your kids' actions and neither is he.

I swear, some people are just educated beyond their intelligence.

Question about Pravastatin for high cholesterol?

Just as a word of caution that you should never stop taking a medicine without consulting your doctor. The medicine or the combination of all of them may be used to do certain things or even counter the side effects in another medicine. Stopping one without consulting the doctor could mean the side effects of another script would be even worse. Over the counter supplements may or may not work, but using them in place of a script is dangerous, especially without telling your practitioner before doing so. I see this all the time and it is not a good situation when it happens. Just be careful. -
They said they didn't send a letter to Trump but they didn't deny that they may have sent a letter to his campaign or the GOP leaders or even the debate officials.

I saw the speech Mr Kahn gave. I saw the entire interview where Trump shot back. I'm supporting Trump because I think he is a far sight better than Clinton, but it was not manipulation for me to know that I was disgusted by what Trump said. Nearly everyone is condemning what Trump said and his continued attacks on the Kahn family. The only people standing up for Trump in this are sheeple and they are the ones easily manipulated by blogs and other Trump mouthpieces. Think for yourself, here. What Trump said is indefensible. I just hope he gets it together and becomes more presidential before th

I wanted Cruz and I'm trying to like Trump but he keeps saying the dumbest things, pissing off everyone and his brother, and shows the temperament of a chainsaw. I hate to say it but that is not what I want sitting the Oval Office making decisions for the rest of humanity. Hillary is a damned site better than the disaster Trump would bring.

First, I'm sorry. This wasn't at my hospital and I don't do anything with billing, but I can tell you this happens because we can't control the emergencies. Second thing is that I'm betting they had already set into motion a set of things to bill and that is what you're seeing. It happens because they weren't expecting the procedure to not take place. Just call them and it can be handled. I promise it was nothing underhanded but a standard procedure to save time. Hope he gets whatever it is handled!

This link was sent to me in an email. I know it was chain email but this is the official White House page. Does this bother anyone else? https://www.whitehouse.gov/the-press-office/2016/07/06/statement-president-occasion-eid-al-fitr

I wasn't implying you weren't hard working or frugal. What I'm saying is that I've seen other people who had to make changes when they were in the same situation, including changing jobs and working even longer than 60 hours a week. They did what they had to do. Imagine those people who don't make what your family makes and the struggle they have just buying food and paying a mortgage! Healthcare costs have gone up and keep going up. Paying $900 a month would cover maybe 1/4 of an emergency room visit for even minor things. They have to have enough coming in to cover the costs just like ev

I have a relative that is in the same boat. She and her husband worked but couldn't afford the insurance. Her husband took on a side job to make extra money and she had to go to full time to make ends meet and eventually changed jobs to better themselves. It took them a few years but they made the sacrifices necessary to do it. They had to do what it took to support their family. They still pay much more than most for insurance but at least they have it.

Father's Day Dinner Thread - Go out or eat in?
stercus tauri replied to surepip's topic in RECENT TOPICS
We called our parents to make sure they were coming straight home from church and met them there at 12:30. Then one of us took Dad to the spa for a 90 minute massage while the rest of us cleaned the house and had steaks, veggeis, and his favorite beer waiting for him when he got back. Great afternoon with my Dad, the greatest man I know! -

Milo? I did a google search and the guy is a radical. If that is who you hold up as an example of your brand, I doubt many decent people would want anything to do with him. -

Christianity did the same thing. Still does in some parts of the world. Why don't you say anything about the fact that the guy was mentally unstable? It just seems you're being very selective and more about politics than anything else. Still no comment on the video? Why? -
It can damage clothes long term. I just wish I could use it on husbands at times.

Guess I struck a nerve. Is there a reason you didn't comment on the video I posted? -

Don't go there! When I was growing up, the church where we went said I shouldn't try to get a job because "it was a woman's job to take care of the home." I was told that because I was a girl I couldn't be a church leader. I even remember some of the older members telling all the teenage girls that it was a sin to cut our hair, wear make up, wear pants, and it was useless for me to do any schooling after high school. I also remember quite a few comments about gay people shouldn't be able to marry, vote, or even be a member of the church. Some of the older members said gays should be locked up -
I don't mean to sound mean, but it isn't a video game. When the situation is happening, instincts take over and there isn't enough time to plan a group strategy.

Always ask the primary care for a referral. If she refers you to one in Atlanta, it may be for a specific reason. You have to ask! The primary care is there for a reason. If you want a referral close by, just tell the primary or nurse practitioner and she will give you one.
