  1. Assumption? I quoted the article. You are not even being objective and sound like Sean Spicer. Had it been Hillary who gave the order with this result there would have been hearings, investigations, and a resolution for impeachment. What hypocrisy but hypocrisy is par for the course isn't it? Here it is again. U.S. military officials told Reuters that Trump approved his first covert counterterrorism operation without sufficient intelligence, ground support or adequate backup preparations. As a result, three officials said, the attacking SEAL team found itself dropping onto a reinforce
  2. How many natural born US citizens killed another natural born US citizen in GA last month? The article was a very good read. You may want to read it.
  3. Gross number and as a percentage. We all know this.
  4. I think we can all call bs on this one, no? We all know the real story here, no matter what the facts say! http://www.pbs.org/newshour/rundown/fact-check-immigration-doesnt-bring-crime-u-s-data-say/
  5. You're going to need to cite a source for that because as much I didn't like Obama, I never heard anything like that since he had no control over veteran retirement pay or Social Security because that has to come from Congress.
  6. Why did the White House give the go ahead knowing the information was not there?
  7. Waiting for additional information and intelligence before launching the attack.
  8. Continue to pray for the victims families.
  9. Approved and waiting for more intelligence and confirmation. Never received. “The decision was made ... to leave it to the incoming administration, partly in the hope that more and better intelligence could be collected,” that official said
  10. Did you read the article? “The decision was made ... to leave it to the incoming administration, partly in the hope that more and better intelligence could be collected,” that official said
  11. We want our military to serve a purpose. Actions need to be throughly planned, thought through, and have a policy purpose. Someone gave the order without doing that. http://mobile.reuters.com/article/idUSKBN15G5RX
  12. Minorities were given the right to vote in 1869. Didn't mean minorities could vote. You're missing the point. Not the same issue. This is about the systemic discrimination. Bringing up examples as you're doing make it look like you don't want to discuss the real topic. We will not go back and we will be treated equally. We will not stop fighting for it.
  13. Workplace discrimination over salary and time off. Sexual harrassment. Reproductive discrimination. The list goes on.
  14. Employers do not have to pay women the same as men and the numbers show we aren't. Women are not treated the same in other areas of employment as shown by the fact women are not represented in areas of leadership proportionally the same as society's composition. It could go on but you can see that while there is no law that discriminates, the reality is there is discrimination.
  15. We certainly have "rights," but these rights are not always enforced, can be ignored, and do not do much to stop the disproportionate amount of physical and sexual violence perpetrated against women every day. Don't women have rights? Yes, we do. But they are not stable rights like those afford to white men. They are not rights that are always abided by, and they are not always equal rights to men. And the rights specifically for women, as in reproductive and health rights are an ever-changing joke, where states run predominantly by men decide what women can and cannot do with their bodies
  16. She did excatly what we want an AG to do, and that is to uphold the Constitution and applh the law to the best of her ability, free of politics. She did that. I disagree with her on a lot of things but she did what she said she would do. Trump has every right to fire her, but saying she is weak was just wrong.
  17. You really don't see how he is being a bully?
  18. This is a terrible and sad event. Prayers for the community there and Canada. Not seeing much concern about this. Selective outrage and a whole lot of hypocrisy.
  19. A terrorist attack on a worship center killing 6 people. http://www.msn.com/en-us/news/world/quebec-mosque-suspect-charged-with-murdering-six-people-court/ar-AAmof9J?OCID=ansmsnnews11
  20. Only Kelleanne Conway and Sean Spicer are actually supporting this. It is just sop very sad to see wilfull blindness.
  21. 1. Unprecedented. Yes, it falls under the executive branch but that doesn't change the fact that no one else has ever had an optic that looks so partisian when it comes to national security. 2. No president has ever not had the joint chiefs of staff or the director of intelligence as a permanent member and at the table. 3. IJR. Really? Not at the table as a permanent member while Trump's political strategist is, who happens to be Alt Right.
  22. Huge distinction. I guess everyone who has ever been part of that before knows nothing. Joint chiefs of staff excluded, Bannon on. Director of intelligence excluded, Bannon on. Never before had a neo-fascist on the security council.
  23. Don't present alternate facts as everyone says this is unprecedented. Kelleanne? Is that you?
