Anywhere in dallas/hiram have good hot wings?
kwood replied to sharee.smith's topic in RECENT TOPICS
You missed them. It's the only thing I ever order there. My stock order is the chips and queso and wings plain with ranch. But, they have good sauce, I'm just a Midwesterner with no tolerance for any type of heat at all. -

The best wings closest to Hiram is either Taco Mac in Douglasville or Taco Mac in Marietta. But I'm partial to the big meaty wings. -
I was raised in the public schools of a Cincinnati suburb. If I could put up with living in that area again (and the school hadn't changed) I would send my kids there. Maybe it was where we lived, but there was no liberal indoctrination. We had a mock election for the 1996 presidential election and Bob Dole won in a land slide. I managed to get accepted to college and was a Deans list student, so I'd say public schools did me well. HOWEVER, my kids will go to Christian base pre-k, and if we are living in this area of the County they will go to the county school. However if we move to anoth

Thanks Pubby, but I do actually have a degree in Business from a prestigious University. I still don't understand the draw of over priced bird items. -
Wasn't there a topic about a yard sale at Miz Cue's?

I guess someone was reporting the business I was associated with, yet not reporting a similar business with similar posts because the business I was associated with had their posts moved every time, while the other business did not. THEREFORE, I guess someone had an issue with our posts being on Paulding.com, but not the other members. So someone was playing favorites. It's all moot anyway, I no longer work with that business, and they no longer post here. -

I always assumed those businesses must be a front for drug operations. There is no way people are making that much money off of selling bird crap (pun intended) -

I was associated with a business that had a commerce membership. Anything that was posted got moved to the business section. HOWEVER, another business could post in the internet cafe and never get their posts moved. Seemed like they pick and choose who they want to enforce rules on. Therefore they spend their advertising dollars elsewhere. -
It's good and bad. It's hard to completely detach from being at home or from being at work. While I'm working I pass those loads of laundry that need to be done, or room that needs cleaning, and when I'm at home I look at my office door and think I could knock out some things while I have a minute. My only real struggle is that we live 30 minutes from Dothan, and 15 minutes from the smaller town of Headland. If I need to go to the store I can't go on my way home from work, so I try not to have to run out for things during the day because then I lose 30 minutes to an hour of work time. It's rea

I work from home, but it's because my company decided I could telecommute and keep my job when we moved to South Alabama. Now if I can just keep it

I am about halfway through with "Atlas Shrugged" by Ayn Rand
kwood replied to marvinthemartian's topic in RECENT TOPICS
One of my professors at Alabama said at his end of year speech that if you only read one book in your life after leaving college, make sure it was Atlas Shrugged. I started reading it back then but I've never finished it. Maybe when I have time to read again I'll pick that up. -
All of this is great unless you have panic attacks that have the exact same symptoms as a heart attack and you never know when it's a panic attack or a heart attack.

Ok, that makes more sense, but is the guy actually disabled? And I didn't know your kids got disability checks if you were disabled.
-
Aight I am thoroughly confused this is disability because the child is disabled? If the mother has custody why isn't she filing, why would they let him file at all? This reeks of fraud to me. How do people learn to milk the system like this?

Do you wipe your butt with your old news paper too?

Some friends of ours were gifted a time share by her parents, I'm not sure the details, but they used it to go to Panama City this summer and we met up with them. They didn't like it because they really didn't like staying in the high rise type condos and that is all their timeshare offered.

If it's at a certain time it might be. When I was in college at Alabama my dorm was right next to the campus police and they were required to test sirens and lights when they did shift change.

There's one on Cobb Parkway near the Galleria. I went to an Indian buffet once, the smells were so off putting the only thing I could find to eat was the nan (I think thats what they call the bread) it was AWFUL.

Skivvies get one wear, bras I wear twice (unless there is sweating), jeans I wear 2 to 3 times, shirts once (I have 2 kids 2 and under, I never make it through a day without getting something on my shirt), causal lounge pants I usually wear 2 to 3 times. We are a family of 4 with 2 little ones, I usually do at least one load a day depending on how much spit up or poop we've had. I don't sort my loads at all, I used to wash the kids clothes in the special detergent, but then I said screw it. We have a hamper in each room, I go collect out of those hampers and take them to the laundry r
