Thankfully never, because I try not to associate myself with things that will end up in the cops knocking on my door. Which is maybe why I don't fear the police, in the few run ins I have had with police in my life they have never been anything but professionals doing a job that isn't very popular.

Do you honestly think that thugs that are going to break into your house and steal your treasures and rape your women are going to come in saying "Paulding County Sheriff's office we have a warrant to search the house?" When I hear that I drop my ass to the ground with my hands over my head and say yes sir no sir until things are cleared up.

Supply and demand. When I first started in my industry in 2003, I was making $35,000, when I left there in 2007, I was making close to $50,000. I left that job and moved away, but in 2010 I entered the same field back here in Atlanta, and I was making LESS that what I started out at in 2003. Why? Because back in the boom days they were hiring tons of people and training them to do this type of work. Now there are a plethora of people around with these job skills, but there are probably half the jobs available. So they know they can hire me for chump change and I won't complain because if I lea

The debate this evening... who do you think won?

The fact that you judge the winner of a debate based on what your facebook friends posts makes me think we should have an IQ test for voting. -
The debate this evening... who do you think won?

Just now the Today show on NBC called it a draw. -
And I assume you are salary? I regularly work over 40 hours a week, but I never get more money for it. My pay hasn't increased in 3 years. I don't press it because I was on maternity leave for 6 months out of that time, but I also know people that have regularly worked over 40 hours a week at this place for over 10 years that have never gotten one pay increase.

Paulding.com sells itself by marketing how many hits or views it gets correct? So why wouldn't they pay someone or invent an internet persona to rile people up to drive traffic to tell their sponsors how much traffic they get?

Please vary your news sources. That way you might lose your liberal goggles.

I'm torn on this issue. I think there are plenty of places to get a alcohol without having to expand, but people should have the right to choose. I just know many times that people who live with alcoholics only have one day a week when they know that their drunk can't get a drink (or couldn't). But that ship set sail when Hiram voted on it. Personally I don't drink and it doesn't make a difference to me if someone can get a drink on sunday. I would be voting no, but I moved to an area that still has the no sunday sale laws, so my vote won't count in Paulding.

The downtown Hiram Businesses are doing a fall festival this weekend.

I tried watching it, but I like my reality shows with a little more reality, it seemed contrived to me.

I think most of the shops are open from 10 to 5, so I would say it's an all day kind of thing. Not sure on the activities.

Gore, and I quote "I took the initiative in creating the internet"

I think that was Dan Quayle

You can't make this stuff up. Gore says that the high altitude is why Obama performed poorly.. My link

So now you are saying that highly educated people can't possibly be conservative? Mighty broad brush you're painting with. I'd say the audience is a reflection of the content. I doubt that Fox News will get a lot of Dems calling in. I will be starting a log of pro con conservative dem talk on the station. I'd say it's easily 3 to 1 on any given day. I can't argue with stupid, so I'll quit replying to you at this point.

I don't know why, but this reminded me of something I saw a couple months ago at Steak-n-Shake in Hiram. We were pulling into the parking lot, and there was a woman, I would assume she was in her early 40's, with a girl, I would say she might have been 10 or 11, and the lady was SCREAMING at the girl (I wasn't close enough to hear what she was saying). And forcing the girl to do jumping jacks. I was embarrassed for them, I don't know what the girl did, or why the mom felt the need to make her do jumping jacks in front of the restaurant, but it's not what I would have done. BUT, it's her kid, I

WJWV 90.9 out of Ft. Gaines GA. I live north of Dothan, AL about 10 miles from the AL/GA border. It's the only talk radio I can pick up at the house, and it's only talk after 1pm cental. For an example there was a program on yesterday asking for callers to call in and talk about the questions they thought should have been addressed in the debates. The whole segment was pro dem.

So you are implying that your real estate agent showed you houses, you put offers in on them, and then your real estate agent tipped off their investor friends about these great deals and their friends bought them? These other bids were placed after your bid? Maybe the second bidder was told there was another bid so they knew they had to put in a better bid. I just find it highly unlikely that someone was following you around poaching your deals.

You are blind or deaf. I listen to GPB radio while working at home (it's the only talk AM station I can pick up down here in the sticks). I've been listening for a month, and while I enjoy some of their non-political celebrity or slice of life interviews, I could do without their political slant. Especially after the debate. They were falling all over themselves to make excuses for Obama, and to say that it didn't really matter if Romney had a strong showing. If you can't see the slant then you aren't actually listening. I lean right, and I know that fox leans right. I don't let my political v

Why couldn't say Sesame street, Curious George, Electric Company, Clifford, ETC, not exist on a channel outside of PBS? Those are the only shows I allow my toddler to watch, and I would allow her to watch them on any channel which leads me to believe that they could exist as programming on another channel that sells ad space.
-
I know you're joking, but I don't get why we need PBS at all. I know it's only a small portion of the Federal Budget, but why should the govt fund a television or radio channel. You think Sesame Street couldn't exist on a Commercial channel?
-
This isn't a dictatorship where the Govt tells us what we can and can't do. The govt (should) work within the peoples guidelines. If a company doesn't want to provide BC coverage then you have the CHOICE to not work there.

Forcing employers who are morally against birth control to provide birth control is anti-american. Can we force Muslims to eat pork too?
