With all due respect to your choice, that's an inflammatory thing to say to someone who is trying to do what they believe is best for their family. I would love to stay home with my girls, but if I stayed home we wouldn't be able to pay our bills. I think for us at least, working and having my kids in daycare is in their best interest rather than me selfishly wanting to stay home and not being able to support them.

Why should the liberal nuts have control over my hard earned money?

Mine SUCKS, and I work from home, but my only internet option is Verizon JetPack

"Bill Baird attributes his birth control crusade to having seen a 29-year-old mother who already had numerous children die in a Harlem hospital after she tried to self-abort with a coat hanger. She didn’t have the right to a legal aboortzion, and she didn’t have the right to contraception, or even information about it. Baird dedicated his life to providing contraception and aboortzion care to women, particularly poor women, and to challenging the laws that denied these things to them." However she did have the right to know about abstinence, and practice it freely. " Liberty ca

Hijacking your thread, happy first birthday to your little one, it has to be soon or did I miss it? Mine will be a year on April 3rd. Can't believe a whole year has gone by since she came into the world. Feels like yesterday.

I think it's in the wall, we know it's in the closet with the water heater, we would have to demo the walls to get to it, and we would be guessing at where it was, the whole closet stinks. The landlord basically said it's probably a mouse, she knows they smell, but oh well. I guess we'll just airfreshner the heck out of it.

You get what you pay for? I don't know what you were paying, but I know that most people that are good workers want to be paid for their ability. If you can't pay much you'll get a lesser caliber employee.

About a week or so ago we had a mouse (very small) in our house. They had just cleared one of the fields behind our house, so I'm guessing he was looking for a new home. Anyway, the cat caught it twice, but let it go and it ran behind the fridge never to be seen again. I put out 3 traps, the old snap kind, and never caught anything. Last week we started smelling an odor in the closet in our second bath that holds the water heater. As of this weekend the odor is pretty ripe, and upon contacting our landlord she said it's likely a dead mouse in the wall. So my question is, how long is t

My girls are both in daycare, when we lived in Paulding my daughter went to the Children's Palace on Bill Carruth. I NEVER felt they were treated with any less care than an in home caregiver would give. And by law they are not allowed to have 50 infants to one care giver. We have moved away, but I am still facebook friends with the two ladies who watched my oldest daughter at Childrens Palace, and they are the nicest ladies who genuinely care about my children. To each his own, but if you can't find an in home place, I can personally vouch for Ms. Joyce and Ms. Christina at the Children's

I recently had to find someone down here in the Dothan, AL area to watch my 11 month old, I found someone on care.com. I highly recommend it. You can weed through people that have recommendations and background checks. We loved the lady we found.

Are you insane? The reason the is a sequester is that the economy is not performing, and we are finally holding Washington responsible and asking them to live within their means.

I would say 2 families are not lower ranking, actually one just left the military to go private sector and makes 6 figures and he's in his late 20's. The other family is in their mid 20's in the Air Force in Pensacola. I know one family where the father is out of the military and has disability. He was in for 4 and then out I believe (Army). He works a job that's just slightly over minimum wage, and they just bought a home on a VA loan, wife doesn't work, they have 2 kids. So yeah, the first two aren't lower ranking, but the 3rd seems to be doing alright between what he gets from dis

Maybe I am not acquainted with run of the mill military families, but the ones I do know are not hurting at all, and most are doing well with a single income. Yes they move around, and they have issues with getting into doctors, but they get to see the doc, and they are paying their bills on one income. For the record, I don't think that we should cut any services to military families. There are far more wasteful things out there that could go first. But from my experience, the military families I know are doing aight.

I use Lightroom 4, as a casual photographer I think it's a lot easier to learn than photoshop, and it does all that I need.

3 years after getting a new number I am still getting called for a lady name Yvonne who apparently never paid a bill in her life. -
The most inspiring love I have ever seen is between the pastor of our new church and his wife. They have been married for 50 years this August. She has had Alzheimers for the past 5 years. Although she doesn't really speak or respond, he takes her with him wherever he goes. He brought her to our home visit and included her as much as he could in the discussion. I ran into him at kmart the other day and he had her with him and he was pushing her in the wheelchair. There are many people that would put their spouse in a home because of the pressures with dealing with the disease (and I don't thin

Fair enough. Where I live the rental market is non-existent, we were lucky to find a place to rent. There just aren't many renters out in the sticks. We'd love to buy, but until we have more stable jobs and a more stable economy I'm not willing to risk buying a house I might have to turn around and sell.
-
Depends on the person. I was 22 and had a house a car a job, had been married a year, and was very mature and very settled. I could have stayed that way for years to come if I had liked my first husband. I picked love over stability when I was 27, and at 33 I'm starting to wonder about that choice

I have actually shopped in JCP more in the last 2 months than I have in the last 5 years. Granted it was to buy my husband some work clothes and shoes, but I liked their selection and I liked their pricing. I'm not one for sales, gimmicks and coupons. Just give me a fair price and I'll pay it. I shop when I need something, not when someone offers me a coupon. That being said I went in Sears for the first time in years yesterday looking for easter dresses for my girls, and I was shocked to see that they had occasional dresses 50% off, and that made them around $24 and that was more than I w -

You tell him he might want to stop opening mailboxes? and why Phew? It's a car Repo man, not the grim reaper

It's capitalism, it's supply and demand economics. You can only charge the price that the market will bear.

Life isn't fair, and no one cares if you can afford the higher rental. The black and white fact is that you can't afford the mortgage you may or may not have been given in the first place.
