They do c-sections in the UK. I know of a friend that had one.

I didn't have GD with the bigger baby, I did with my first. I knew that she was going to be a big baby though, but I was thinking like 9lbs, maybe 10, but she was almost 12. I was SO uncomfortable by the end, and had put on 16lbs in the last 2 weeks. I also had a lot of fluid.

Did they know how much he weighed? I haven't seen that in any stories. And I have a friend in the UK whose baby was measuring small and they were worried about her growth and she was taken via c-section. For comparison, both my babies at 36 weeks were estimated to be the same weight at that point. My oldest was born at 39 weeks and she weight 8lbs 8oz, my youngest was born at 39 weeks weighing 11lbs 11 oz. So explain that? In 3 weeks one gained 3lbs 3oz more than the other?

I saw that on the Today show. I'm amazed. I had an 11lb 11oz baby, but I had her via c-section. I feel for them, it said their baby spend a month in the hospital after he was born. I don't think most people know that having a big baby can mean a trip to the NICU. My daughter was in the NICU for 5 days. They had trouble with her breathing at first, and then getting her blood sugar leveled off. She needed to eat to keep her levels up, but she wouldn't eat, it was a struggle just to get her to take a quarter of an ounce of food and keep it down. Even though she was 11lbs 11oz they were still conc

Just my uneducated opinion, but I would say it's unlikely to be a rearending. The damage to the bus is on the driver side, and so is the damage to the back of the car. If it were a rear ending I doubt those two parts of both vehicles would be damaged. Looks more to me like the car was making a left turn in front of the bus, or the car was just passing through an intersection and the bus couldn't stop fast enough.

I think the thing that is wrong with it is that there are crazy people in this world that would take a child. Maybe I'm overprotective, but I have never been more than a few feet away from my children when they are in my care. I don't walk out of the house and leave them in there even if no one is around. I've been in the situation with one or both of my kids where I needed to run in to get something. It was a pain in the ass, but I lugged them in with me, or I just waited until I was alone to run the errand. I could never live with myself if something happened to them because I left them unat

If you don't see how making the statement that your kids are worth more than money might be offensive to people that have to work to support their family then I can't help you. Never once did I say that it was a bad thing or a lazy thing to stay at home FOR YOU. I said that if I were to stay at home it would be selfish because it would mean we couldn't pay our bills. Good for you that you can make it work. I can't, doesn't mean that money is worth more than my kids, it means that I have to work to make sure there is food on the table, and insurance for their illnesses. I promise you I'm not do

How cynical we've all become, but of course the nurse at the hospital where Kate was when she was sick during her pregnancy was trusting and look how that turned out.

From what I have read about this man he sounds like he is truly walking the walk of Christianity. I'm not Catholic, but I hope that some of these Mega churches, and the so called "First Ladies" that were shown on the TLC show the Sisterhood take notice. If your parishioners are trying to get by, don't show up in a Land Rover.

I'm the opposite of a non-crier, I cry over commercials that aren't sad. -
Not that it matters, but the first line says this is a facility for mentally ill people, so not necessarily old.

I never realized that water heaters had to be on a stand, but now that I think about it every place I've lived in they were on one. Learn something new every day.

I keep thinking if someone was holding gun anywhere near my child I would be between the gun and my child no matter what. The first thing I heard her say is he walked up and shot my baby in the face. That's just not going to happen I would throw myself on top of my child before I let someone walk up to them with a gun. -
In your original post you stated that you decided your children were more important than money. That is inflammatory. That is making the statement that if you work and send your kids to daycare you are choosing money over your children. It's great that you can feed your family on one income. We could too, but we would also be on medicaid and WIC if we went down to one income. As for the values my children are being taught at daycare, well, my 2 1/2 year old can say her blessing at meals, she gets daily Bible lessons, she is taught Christian children's songs, just as she would be at home w

I'm not shocked by this.

I think the friend requesting of strangers must be younger users too. Or if your female, and your getting stranger requests it's probably because you post barely dressed duck faced photos of yourself.

Maybe the mother paid the kid to shoot her and kill her kid in exchange for a cut of the life insurance. And is it common to have life insurance on a 13 month old? I don't have any on either of my kids. -
I've been a Facebook user since 2008 and have never gotten a request from someone I didn't actually know in some way.

I finally watched the interview with her, and here are my thoughts as a mother of 2 kids, one 2 1/2, and the other almost a year. 1. She wasn't sobbing, I think I would be inconsolable, and probably not able to give an interview. 2. And this stood out most, she keeps referring to him as "my baby", to me, I would be using my childs name when talking about what happened. I didn't doubt this story at all when they first reported it. I pray for the family that lost the baby they loved no matter how it happened.
