  1. Check Publix. I think they usually have lower priced passes for stuff around Atlanta. Well, at least I *think* they do. But can I go? I love the zoo j/k, But I have been thinking about seeing if my husband will take me here soon.
  2. I agree, NJ. This is not the same as the examples listed by Pubby, either. What incentive would there be for reporters to actually report the truth? (Now, I know that's a huge leap in some cases ) There's an old saying; you don't bite the hand that feeds you. I think this "drudge tax" or whatever you want to call it, is very dangerous grounds. I think the government has no business in issues like these.
  3. Yep. I don't think I will ever vote early because of this. I know if I were to, then it would be that year where something happens or comes out to make me regret my decision. I have been registered ever since I was 18, and it is the first thing I take care of whenever I have moved!
  4. Yay Subby!!!!! That is awesome! Good for you. I am so glad you were able to grow your business liket this!!!
  5. That's so cute! Of the first two little boys, the one on the right was rocking it out like a little mini-MJ. lol They were both really good, though. Too cute.
  6. True. I think it'll still be fun, though! I will probably not pay much attention once I get down there
  7. I went years ago as a family vacation when I was in either jr. high or high school. The old fort was really neat. I'd skip the Fountain of Youth. If I remember correctly it was totally hokey. BUt then again, you could go to say you've been. It's really pretty there, I do remember that. Have fun!!
  8. lol That is so wrong... but still so funny...
  9. I loved it! I didn't have to wind my way thru the maze of parents and children waiting on the bus at the top of my 'hood! Woohoo! And even though I left at regular time, I got to work 10 mins. early.
  10. Good... I will make it to one, for sure!
  11. We will be downtown to watch the world cup. lol Yes, you are probably right.
  12. I do love to laugh! A lot.. I just didn't see this until yesterday morning. I had my friend from Chatt in town all weekend, so we may have come down if I had seen this in time. There are a lot of folks on here I'd love to meet in person. Unless, of course I freak out with shyness like when I saw Shan06 at the yard sale. LOL It didn't help that I was sweating up a storm and looked like h*ll.
  13. Thanks. I am going to have to try that place. I love Italian, I just forget about it. We rarely go further than The Avenues on 120. WW - I love those bread knots at Sal's. I ruin my dinner with them. And my breath for about 2 days. lol
  14. Did you go? One of these days I might head down and check it out. I'd like to actually meet some people from here.
  15. We are going to get a room downtown and watch it at the Brewhouse in Little 5. If not there, then there's a British pub we used to go to a lot when we lived down there but I can't remember what it's called. It's always more fun to go and watch it where the Brits do!
  16. I can only use Pantene, so I am no help. It's not very expensive, and I always find coupons for it. It is higher than some, but it's not like salon shampoo. I actually have some $1.00 off coupons if you want them, and when I was at the HIram Kroger the other day they had some on clearance. If you want my coupons just pm me your address and I will happily mail them to you.

  18. Sal's is probably the closest to you. It's downtown Dallas, just down from the police station. Or, you could always go to Pasta Bella on Austell Rd. near the East West Connector intersection. Yum. OR, you could go to Vincent's on Barrett near 120, but I don't know if it's good or not.
  19. lol So it was the place on 92 next to Rodney's?
  20. ALso, there's nothing wrong with tummy tucks either. I won't have one, but my BFF is saving her pennies to get one. She used to be 225lbs at 5'3". Now, she is a personal trainer and runs marathons. She is a slim and fit woman at 145-150lbs, all muscle. That skin from her overweight days has no where to go, and she needs it removed. Now that she has lost the weight, she wants to show off the 6 pack abs hiding under the excess skin.
  21. I don't think there's anything wrong with getting them. I don't have them, but that is not to say I won't. I have thought about it, but only to ::ahem:: even them out. It would be for me, so I wouldn't feel so embarrased in a bathing suite or low cut top. Not to mention have and easier time buying such things. But, my hubs really wouldn't care either way, and has said as much. He thinks I'm sexy as it is, so for now it's all good.
  22. That's okay... I am not either. Well, maybe I am.
  23. lol What a creep! As I hit send, the commerical about Caroline taking the bus to her prenatal appointment came on. LOL Sorry - thought that was weird.
