  1. If it were me, I'd let it go. But, I don't know what T's are, what the box looks like. Even so, I really doubt that I would do anything about it if it were me - I would be the one that cut my own hand. It also wouldn't be worth my time and the hassle to get involved with lawyers, etc. Sometimes accidents happen. It's no one's fault. A lot of times those displays are not set up my a Lowe's employee if they still operate similar to HoDe. They manufacturer has people that come in and set up displays and stuff. This may not be the case for this item, though. IDK.
  2. I have a friend that was pulled over for flossing last week. Not with those little pick type deals, either. A string of floss, and he was driving with his elbow. He was pulled for that, but got the ticketS for being smart. I told him I was going to ship him a huge bag of those flosser things to Phoenix. He said he does this every morning. Sheesh.
  3. Yes. And mine is a sort of golf theme as well. About 5 years ago we went to Destin and took another couple with us that we are close friends with. We were at Sandestin, and the four of us were on my in-law's golf cart coming back after going out to the bars on the property. My husband was driving and his friend in the front, and his wife and I were on the back, sitting in a seat that faced out. Meaning, she and I had our backs against our husbands'. Anyway, my husband and his friend saw an orange safety cone and turned around to get it, and were riding thru the property with it on th
  4. I love the autotune the news people. LOL, it was like the guy was really singing. I still have tears in my eyes from watching the first one.
  5. Are those good? I never got to Ingles but ran in there the other day and saw those. I almost got the pistachio ones but didn't. I bet they are yum! Also, here is a tip to all: Never buy Rozoni Quick Cook pasta. I didn't realize it was quick cook when I got it. I just saw it was $1 and got it. It's gross. It does cook fast, but it's strange and mushy. Can't explain it. It was almost like I'd opened up a can of Spaghettios.
  6. lmao My hubs told me about this the other day and I forgot to look for it. Hahahaha... thanks for the laugh!
  7. You can't be serious!? I didn't think that people like that existed! LOL I have NEVER heard of something like fencing a neighbor's yard! I am ssoooooooo sorry for you! My in-laws can get on my nerves, but at least not like this.
  8. Sketti, steamed broccoli and garlic bread. My fav. And it's easy, and it's Monday. I'm pooped.
  9. lol I am glad you are okay. Don't you know not to go outside when it's raining? lol Kidding, b/c this happened to me yesterday, too. I was sitting out on the front porch around 7:30 or so (I can't remember the exact time) and it was sunny with clouds in the distance. I was playing on my phone when I just looked up at the same moment there was a loud clap of thunder and a bolt of lightning. My house faces east, and it looked like it hit in the vicinity of downtown Hiram. I alomst peed my pants and ran faster in the house than I have in a long time. Scared me to death. I think I even screamed,
  10. Oh my word. Every couple of weeks they would stay for a week? I would die.
  11. I can not read this thread, or the article, with a staight face.
  12. Ginger-seaseme marinated chicked breasts Wild rice Green beans or lima beans (prolly lima) Garlic bread And donuts and ice cream for dessert.
  13. I am so sorry. My doxie was 15 and had lost his vision and was very frail as well. We did make the decision to put him to sleep after consulting with the vet. It was the hardest decision ever made, and the hardest thing my husband has ever done. It is a blessing you didn't have to make that choice. I am sorry for your loss, from the bottom of my heart.
  14. I am so, so sorry. You and your family are in my thoughts.
  15. lol I love those peanut butter bars. And the coke cake and lemon bars are delish.
  16. YES! That is my all time fav place to eat! I can't believe I forgot about it. When we first started dating, MrB would take me there and we'd get a huge sampler platter (steamed crablegs, peel&eat shrimp, etc. nothing fried) and an order of oysters on the half shell to share - it was a ton of food. Our bill was always around $30 for the two of us. Now, they have gone up since that was 9 years ago, but it is still reasonable. I love that place, the food and the atmosphere are great.
  17. True. We are not required to collect outside of Georgia.
  18. lol that is so cute. And that is what I usually do, to. I end up with a box full of random stuff but never spend more than $10. I can never make up my mind. Does anyone know if they still have the lemon cupcakes? OMG they are the best.
  19. Not at all. We are a manufacturer's representative. Our customers are manufacturers throughout the south, and we also sell to the power industry. Mostly large corporations that we sell to have direct pay (which we have on file) meaning that they accumulate the amount of sales tax on what they buy, and pay it directly to the state. It saves them the hassle of itemizing each order on what is taxable and not based on the item's use in their plant. I hope that makes sense. Hah. We have an accountant that has made very sure that our paperwork is in order and we collect and remit the appropri
  20. Well, the company I work for is liscensed but we collect little or no sales tax each quarter. We may file having collected $0.00 sales tax in QTR 1, but $5,000 the next, and $200.00 for QTR 3, and again $0.00 for QTR 4. This is because the majority of our sales are either for resale or the end user has a direct pay permit or is tax exempt. The majority of my customers have either direct pay or are tax exempt and do not pay tax. My thinking is maybe the state's reasoning is that they would have to have people go into the field and audit these businesses, making sure they have the necessary
  21. mine just spanks me Just kidding. Ny boss and I were just looking at these.
  22. Dude. I would have paid money to see that. This is too funny. What on earth could they be fighting over? Did one break? I thought a fight was going to break out when I was there once. The line was sooooo looongggg and was out into the parking lot. As I got to the front, a lady came up and just got in the front of the line. Um, no, the lady in front of me not so nicely explained where the line started.
