That is a great one!

I don't know how to do the YouTube thing but I love Chicago's Color My World and Barbra Steisand's Evergreen from the movie A Star Is Born.

When I think back to the flooding that we had here in 2009 and the damage and problems that it caused for all of us and we had no warning - I just can't imagine the scope of this disaster and the devastation left behind, people, homes, cars boats and land just swept away in a matter of minutes.

Best of luck to you. We lived in Florida for one year before moving to Paulding and I can't wait to move back.

That's good to hear.

I know - I was wondering who was going to beat me to it.

Casey's in the hospital again.

I did Suzanne Somers/Somercize in 2008 and lost 20 pounds easily in two months. I felt better and my blood pressure went down. I want to do that again but I just don't have the money to buy what I want for that and still keep all the carbs in the house for my husband and son. I'm going to have to put a lot of thought in to how I can do it inexpensively.
-
Are you following a particular plan or just going low-carb?
-
So very sad.

I still watch Walker Texas Ranger whenever it's on.

Okay, I know I am naive, but he was the highest paid person on tv so he should have lots and lots of money. Shouldn't he just step back, keep quiet for a while, try to straighten himself out, for the sake of his kids and his career. The media keeps saying that he's worried about not having any income. Doesn't he have a place to live and plenty of money to buy food? Isn't there anyone that can get through to him? Does he not have a mother that can sit down and talk to him? Boys usually listen to their moms don't they? I'm just tired of hearing about him and seeing his and Lindsay's face

We have an iron skillet that my husband uses for his cornbread. He would probably freak if it was used for anything else. Thanks for the recipe.

So why is it better in an iron skillet? I asked my husband (he is a Georgia boy) and he said he's never heard of chocolate gravy.

Next week is one hour early every day - so that's 5 hours (unless the new math computes it differently). Do they really listen to suggestions made by parents and teachers?
-
I spend more time here than on facebook too.

I have never ever heard of chocolate gravy. My Kentucky grandmother made homemade syrup and the best biscuits in the world, but never chocolate gravy. What all is in it?

I was thinking about them the other day when I saw the college kids getting handcuffed for protesting the Hope Scholarship negotiations. Also, Bob Schieffer on his CBS Sunday morning show said that every community needs to have a group that serves as a buffer for when Westboro Baptist shows up at funeral. I like that he is not afraid to give his opinion on things.

am I the only one who feels it is exceedingly rude of employers

I'm glad I am not out looking for a job right now. My last two jobs which were several years ago, I called several times before I was finally told I had the job. My husband has been looking for about a year and everyone wants you to email a resume. You can't even get to a person on the phone now to discuss the job. I hope an opportunity comes up for you soon. -
He did a good job with Joe Cocker's A Little Help From My Friends.

He's good but I'm sorry, Jacob was flat.

They all seem to be "performers" this season. They have good voices and they seem to have the confidence that was not seen this early in prior seasons.

The founder of Ingles Grocery passed away last Sunday. He was 77. RIP.

We have had a discussion about this before on here, but I nap in the parent pick-up line at school and then again in early evening I fall asleep playing solitaire on my laptop. But then I have a hard time getting to sleep later.
