I'm not one for throwing Bible verses at someone, but I always like the book of Psalms, and 46:10 is a very small verse that I like "be still and know that I am God".

Don't like the lightning, got my laptop unplugged but my battery needs to be replaced since it doesn't hold a charge long. Glad this is a fast moving storm.

My phone just rang once and then disconnected, just a few seconds ago. I'm assuming this is what it was about.

Something I don't do very often, stopped and got McDonalds on the way home.

Glad I got my son picked up at North Paulding and got out of the area before the hail hit.

It makes me a little nervous going to pick my son up from school - I can't imagine what it does to the bus drivers and the parents waiting at home.

I just looked at the calendar and I think it says they get out one hour early the week of March 14-18, instead of two.

I hope it waits until all the kids are home from school.

Definitely don't be burning today. Our air conditioner is not working so I am having to open the windows. My son has asthma and I stay warm all the time. I hope my neighbors don't start any fires.

My dad was good with a belt when I was a kid and my mom liked to send us to get a switch to use on us. I used to occasionally swat my two grown sons on the bottom when they were little but then I remarried and saw things get out of hand with my second husband. He broke a paddle on my oldest hitting him so hard and another time kicked my second oldest up the steps while I was at work leaving marks on him and a cut on his lip. Needless to say that was the end of the marriage. The teenager I still have at home probably could have used more discipline, even though he is a good kid that hasn't

I had forgotten that something bad had happened and haven't really paid close attention to the commercials. I just noticed the date that it comes on. I'm not even going to try and guess which one it is because it will be sad no matter who dies.

If she injured her ankle the way my mil injured hers several years ago, I could understand this. My mil stepped off a curb the wrong way in Atlanta and shattered her ankle. I wasn't in the family at the time but she spent a lot of time in the hospital and had several surgeries and they never were able to put it back together right so she has not worked in years. It still looks awful.

I heard the sirens which kept me from going to sleep and then I finally went to sleep, my phone and cellphone woke me up, but if we got any rain or a storm I didn't hear it.

Not that it's any of our business, but do we know what's wrong with him? Hope he gets well quickly.

I wish it would rain money, then maybe we could afford a maid.

What a difficult situation to say the least. I wonder what the daughter's last six months were like. If she suffered for six months just so the parents could have that extra time, I just don't know what I would do. There is no way to know what you would do unless you're put in that situation.
