I haven't had bangs in many years but I was thinking about getting bangs. I'm just so tired of the hairs falling out everywhere and it really does get hot. You're right about it making your head hurt pulling it back all the time.

It always catches me by surprise but then I remember it's the first Wednesday of the month. Monday when it was storming I told my husband I could hear the freight train, he said yeah, that's because it is the freight train. (it's hard to type and eat soup at the same time)

My son is fifteen and we still have his Dr. Seuss books. I just wish he still liked to read now like he did when he was little. My sister and I loved walking home from the library with an arm load of books after school, and usually had one book finished before supper time. We had a set of encyclopedias at home too that I would read. I should be smarter than I am.

Well maybe she will be the mother she needs to be. She is in rehab and hopefully she will take it seriously for the sake of her two little boys, with the help of her mom. This situation sounds like it will be better for them than being in the media frenzy going around at Charlie's home right now.

I think they may be showing today at 7PM how difficult it was to find things and the cost involved.

I used to do the perm thing too and would just wash it go, it was so easy but I don't want that any more. I think I need to go short and do some highlights too.

I feel like a dummy, I didn't realize this was an American Idol thread. I missed everyone by the last couple of guys.

I was trying to watch NCIS but discovered my washer was not working right - stopped agitating, so I missed most of NCIS and American Idol. Have to watch The Good Wife, hope I have no interruptions.

Just heard Casey sing and he was great. Missed everyone else. Did anyone watch and who are the favorites so far?

Wondered why my clothes weren't getting clean and figured out the agitator quit working. Does anyone know a local place that has parts?

Usually I have more trouble in the fall but I have been sneezing a lot lately and just feeling miserable - probably because I would have the air on by now but our system is not working and neither is my husband so who knows when it will be fixed. I just hope my son who has asthma doesn't suffer too much with the air not on.

I had waist length hair too when I had my first child 36 years ago and it was forever getting caught in car doors. My hair is super straight, fine and is hard to hold a style. I'm just tired of messing with it and tired of it getting in my mouth all the time and when I pull it back it gives me a headache. Sounds like I've pretty much made up my mind to cut it short. When I was little my dad put a bowl on my head and cut it and regretted it afterwards. Too bad I didn't have my sister's curls.

I am getting so tired of my hair and would love to go short. Have any of you gone with a short style and been happy with it?

Last week, I think it was, they were showing souvenirs in D.C. and they were trying to find some made in America. They found that the ones made in America cost quite a bit more which is why the souvenir shops started buying made in China, etc.

Have you been watching ABC World News Tonight with Diane Sawyer the past two nights? They went into a family's home and removed anything and everything not made in America. They did this while the family was out but they were aware of what was going on. How surprised they were when they arrived back home and everything was gone but the kitchen sink and a little glass flower vase. Tomorrow night they will show trucks arriving with all new things - all made in America, to furnish their house. This is being done to show that if everyone bought 1% more of American made items it could create 2

I heard this morning that John Stamos said he had not been approached about doing the tv show but that Martin Sheen had asked him to be a replacement son.

I am so sorry for the family. I didn't know it was a young woman. This morning a car was sitting there at that road as my son and I went by and I thought the car was going to pull out in front of us, my son asked me why I slowed down so much and I explained to him how dangerous it is right there.

Worth - what an interesting word. I am kind of feeling worthless today. Why do we let others make us feel that way? What causes our worth to diminish? I need to give this more thought.
