Need suggestions on some good books on the Civil War
upstore replied to bvrat5199's topic in RECENT TOPICS
The best hands down soldiers eye viewpoint of the war experience is through the diary writings of Pvt Samuel Watkins in his book "Company Aytch" It is carried at most book stores, and the visitors center at Kennesaw Mountain. I just finished "Confederates in the Attic" by Tony Horowitz. I thoroughly enjoyed that one, but is more about the modern perception of the war and its effects on our society, race relations, and class structure. -
I hate that every single company says that if I switch from one company to the advertising company I will save 15% percent. Switch to All State and save, switch to State Farm and save, switch to Esurance and save....That is technically impossible if one really thinks about it as a math equation.

OHHH OHHH OOOH I KNOW!!! Cutting in crosswalks and erecting walk/no walk signals at intersections that have no sidewalks, and no pedestrian traffic. I'm not talking about obvious intersections near shopping in Hiram, I'm talking about the middle of nowhere.... Those were probably part of the shovel ready $700 Billion stimulus though...

I got that pop up too. Telling me it was scanning my hard drive....I quickly shut it down.

Shipping bags is the way to go. We do a lot of that lately since the increased fees. Glenn

I don't have the service, but The UPS Stores have a national contract with ATT-Uverse to return the boxes on contract cancellation. The customer just brings the set-top boxes into the store, and we make them dissapear for you. I take in about 15 family's cancelled boxes each month. I only see the cancellations, so maybe it's not a valid comparison.

Thats correct....Right next to Publix....I'll call and give the staff a heads up this morning. Glenn

Come by my UPS Store... I have a spiral binder that makes millions of little holes. I'm sure its been weeks since I've cleaned out the catch tray. You can have as many as you want. They probably measure 2 or 3mm across. Smaller than a standard hand held hole punch. Glenn

Im saying the later part of that picture above did not happen. We did indeed have a Marine Reservist stabbed at that location as the first part of the article shows. The remaining part about the injuries to the stabbing assailant did not happen. He was detained by the other Marines and arrested sans bodily injuries like the altered picture above states. Don't get me wrong, it would be awesome if it were true, but I sat in on the briefing here at Marine Forces Reserve in New Orleans. Needless to say we were already on edge after losing one of our Sgt's to a stabbing after our Birthday

Today I have talked to a number of really great people interested in taking over operations. Thanks for helping me spread the word. The power of PCOM is amazing.

I'm tossing the BS Flag here.. That has been photoshopped. I was briefed on that here at Marine Forces Reserve when it happened, and the report did not disclose that one.

Hi PCOM family, Many of you know that the Marine Corps has kept me gone for nearly the last two years. Based on my operational tempo, it does not look like I am coming back anytime soon. Even better, my super smart wife will finish her Doctorate in the next few months (I really married out of my league). With all these moving parts I have decided to place the store for sale and look to a new chapter in life. A potential buyer can expect a world class franchise with outstanding corporate support. The UPS Store brand has been ranked in the top ten Franchises to own for the last 20 ye

That depends on the subdivision. Here at Riverwood, 90 of the 100 residents have filed suit against the developer, who consequently is the sole voting board member of the HOA, who also turned around and hired himself as the property management company. Over the last year he increased the fees he charges the hoa from $8,000 to $70,000 per year! He has used residents HOA money to continuously pay for items that are in no way related to the HOA. In fact the HOA ammenities do not even belong to the HOA. Last week his attorney team fired him. They are the replacements for the other team th

They are completly redoing the show for the Memorial day weekend and going forward. They are incorporating some really technologically advanced 3D effects that have only been used at Disney up until now, jazzing up some of the music, and reworking the animation pannels.

Here at the East Paulding UPS Store, we are ranked in the top 20 (out of 200) for highest print volume in the entire southeast region. Did not get there by being a slouch at our printing capabilitities. Consider that we are: Local.. Feature in house graphic design capabilities...Photoshop, Illustrator, and Indesign Well priced in the market... Community sponsors of schools, churches, and charities... Commerce members here on the board.... And I eat Vista for lunch on bigger orders. Example...5000 full color 4x6 post cards heavy card stock $350. Vista wants $410

I thought I was the only one. By the third cycle I broke right headed toward Hiram, and then flipped a ueeey, and then made a right toward Walmart. Something is not right for sure....

Pip, I feel ya....my subdivision has spent the last year in court fighting our developer who has clearly stolen our HOA money for the past 5 years and used it for his private gain. Well into the 6 figure range has been misused. He has spent 100K fighting us, and we have spent at least 50K. Our case was transferred to Cobb, but it just drags on and on and on. Good luck...

I simply breathe in and exhale slowly..while exclaiming "some pople deserve to stand in line at the post office...."

Keith Cochran is the guy to go to. I have 20+ years in the treasure and relic hunting field. I have owned all the major detectors. However, remember that everyone and their little kid brother have had detectors all over the same ground that you intend to hunt. 20 years ago a good day was a hundred bullets, a few buttons and some shell frags. Now, a good day is a few bullets. I personally believe that Dennis Deal, and Troy and his daddy have found just about everything there is to find in this area. My wife jokes that she will happily give me $30 and one hour at wildmans as o

I'm gonna be the odd man here....I like Dr Huffman at Huffman Family Eyecare at Seven Hills. He's a great guy.

We can serve any postal need that one might have at the East Paulding UPS Store. I might have to charge a little more than the post office, but I might save you time, gas and the frustration of waiting in a line. Glenn
