  1. It's a dog. I have watched it before, it made me cry but it also made me feel good that there are some really good people out there who are willing to help an animal in need.. It has a happy ending.
  2. Yes, I have certainly noticed a trend this week.
  3. I have made way too many mistakes in my past to judge anyone else for the mistakes made in their past. I like Paula Deen, I don't believe for a second she is a racist. I just don't. This is Lynch mob mentality at its finest.
  4. Matthew Shepard comes to mind when I read that statement "there will be blood". It's quite disturbing actually.
  5. What's god going to do? You make your loving God sound awfully vengeful.
  6. Dude, this is Paulding county. You don't need a reason to share a Hee Haw clip.
  7. Yikes! I can't believe I read this whole thread. So there is a guy who does business in Paulding and is a flaming liberal. He has posted on here under two different names and people are up in arms about it? So what? It's definitely good fodder for conversation, but I surely wouldn't be getting my panties or thong (Guard Dad) in a wad over it. At this point, I long for the day at my biggest stress is those who disagree with me politically. He/she/it sparked some pretty good conversations. You have to admit.
  8. Meh, their loss. Most people do respond, I'm just surprised some don't. And the fact that he says hi to virtually everyone he sees ups the chances for rejection, I suppose.
  9. I'm not even sure what to say about this. I can't blame a person for defending themselves, but shooting someone and then getting right back in line to buy some shoes? Even if I was justified in taking another person's life, I'm pretty sure I would need some counseling afterword.
  10. Oh, well. I'm not a big pasta fan either, we only have it like once every few months. Let's be real though, was there ever any question that I'm a little weird?
  11. I know. I'm just not a fan of Italian food in general. I made an Italian dinner last night because my husband likes it. I ate some of it, but I didn't enjoy it at all. Also, in my defense, I believe momof3 has previously said she doesn't like spaghetti. So there. I make a really good pasta and Italian sausage dish, but it has a white sauce. I don't like tomato sauce, that's what it boils down to.
  12. I hate spaghetti, I really do. I don't think I've had spaghetti since I was 8. My mom made me eat it.
  13. Same here. I need to update my wardrobe and stop wearing my Goonies t-shirt.
  14. A simple hi doesn't require one to stop. I get what you're saying though, I just think its sad when my son looks at me after being flat out ignored like "Why didn't they say hi to me mommy?" I tell him he's a very nice boy for saying hi, and maybe they didnt hear him, with a smile on my face. It just surprises me is all, I would never not return a hello to a toddler.
  15. A smile is fine. Many people don't even acknowledge him. It's sad.
  16. My 2 year old likes to say hi and wave to people who pass us in the grocery store. You would be surprised how many people don't say hi back.
  17. Google the c-string. Problem solved. You're welcome.
  18. I heard the sirens. Dang. That's scary. Now I hear fireworks.
  19. Everyone who participated in this poll. Btw, I chose this poll.
  20. My daughter and I both got our black belts at Pil Sung Do. It's basically Street self defense. The movements are more natural and easy on the joints. Mr. Key is the instructor, I cannot say enough good things about him. He runs an excellent school and the students really respect and like him.
  21. How many hours a day do you work, Blondie? What is the minimum amount of hours required each day or week?
  22. I'm a-ok with agreeing to disagree. And too late, I already saw your status.
