Saying it is one thing, adding this--> makes it passive aggressive and bitchy. Fyi. Our busses and buildings aren't equipped to handle these temperatures. Our children should be? I could put 5 coats on my kids tomorrow, they would still be cold.

Roasted pork tenderloin, pan-fried asparagus & garlic, Greek lemon potatoes and garlic bread.

A friend of a friend posted a picture of his outside dog on FB this morning with the caption "he made it". People suck.

Agreed. He did unspeakable things to innocent creatures. Some things just can't be repaid. -

I got excited for a second, I was hoping it was a Hersheys with almonds. I've been craving one. Then I remembered your nut allergy. -

Yea, apparently they were threatening her kid. I can't say I wouldn't have done the same.

Papi's chili! -
I had a baby shower for each kid but they are 12 years apart. I think it's a little tacky in the case you've presented. She should already have the stuff she needs.

I went through those 5 stages with my sons autism diagnosis. Acceptance is a beautiful thing, and I'm glad I arrived there because I realize some people never do.

Now that you say that, I remember that my little boy slept better when we cut out his before bed bottle. We are on year 3 of trying to get my son to sleep more. He's recently moved to a big boy bed and has slept til 7:30 almost every morning since. I feel like I won the lottery. He still doesn't take naps though. He gave those up early.

Leftovers for awhile now after all the holiday feasting

I've been a cooking fool since the day after Christmas. Im worn out. I decided on a lazy meal for today. I made chicken & dumplings in the crock pot. Roasted asparagus on the side. Tomorrow I'm making Papi's chili! -
Have you tried lavender baby wash and lotion? It seemed to help my kiddo sleep longer.

I don't remember being able to sit, but I remember it not being as bad as I thought it would be. Whenever I have something I have to do that stresses me out, I picture myself after the fact. Feeling satisfied and accomplished. Try it.

Manners.............. Do you practice using them in your Family?

I have polite parents and so do my kids. My 3 year old is the most polite of us all, he somethimes thanks me out of the blue for no apparent reason. He still interrupts conversations though. He's 3. -
I already do that with my kids. I can only imagine what I'll be calling the grandkids.

Instead of building new buildings, how bout fix the roads, and other things that need fixing. including the bridge on Dallas Acworth Highway headed towards the crossroads Kroger. It's missing a portion of its side rail and has been for months now. Kind of dangerous if you ask me. I'm pretty sure the three orange cones they have up aren't going to stop a car from plunging over the side. But what do I know? Sorry for the snarkiness, it just gets on my nerves that it's been that way for so long. It's ridiculous.

My peas had a dose of bacon grease as well. Onions fried in bacon grease produces the best smell on earth, FYI. I made garlic Parmesan crusted pork chops, collards (with a lil bacon grease and lots of butter), fried okra and pretzel rolls. Eta- blackeyed peas. I made those too.

Congrats Colorado!! Btw- yesterday would have been John Denver's 70th birthday.

Put signs up in your area. When a dog recently found us, that's what I did, I put signs up around the neighborhood. I found his owners within two hours. Nothing fancy, just my phone number and a brief description of the dog.

I can understand the parents not wanting to give up on their child. Realistic or not. It's absolutely heartbreaking. I hate this story.

I love Publix fried chicken.
