  1. The OP of that statement has shown previously that he has little regard for the lives of animals. It was totally unnecessary but there's always an a-hole in every bunch, right? I sincerely hope The OP of the topic can look past it and chalk it up to ignorance. There are plenty of people here who really do care.
  2. I am so beyond thankful for and impressed by the Paulding County ESEP Pre-k, I happily voted yes. Good things are happening in our schools, I see them. They just don't get talked about enough.
  3. You're right. I apologize. I have Tony Crowe signs all around my area, I just assumed. Good to know I'm not the only one confused by that.
  4. Tony Crowe was not on the ballot when I voted at Mt. tabor.
  5. Sending lots of good thoughts, glad to hear it went well.
  6. Horrible. I am so very sorry for your loss. I can't imagine how much you are hurting right now. I've lost pets but never at the hands of a terrible person. The person who did this will get theirs one day. you seem like such a sweet person, if you need anything let me know.
  7. I considered using a shower curtain but they aren't long enough. I like the bed sheets idea. Thanks y'all! Glad I asked.
  8. I'm looking to buy outdoor curtains for my front porch. I'm doing a front porch makeover that is long overdo. My hubs and I searched all over Hiram yesterday with no luck. Walmart, Academy Sports and Home Depot all showed that they had them in store on their web site but no, they did not. I called Lowes on Dallas hwy to see if they had any before driving out there and the lady on the phone said they did. I drove all the way out there to find that she was WRONG. So anyway, I'm wondering if anyone here has seen outdoor curtains being sold anywhere. Buying them online is an option but I'd rather
  9. Almost all of them did. I'm still waiting on the maid. Thank you, Sugail. I thought about you the other day and wondered how you were doing. I hope all is well in your world. Thank you creativeone, it was a pleasure to meet you as well. <3
  10. Thank you, you're so sweet. I really appreciate it. Thanks everyone for the birthday wishes. I don't care what they say, y'all are some nice folks.
  11. Oh, Dana. You beautiful, wonderful person you. Thank you so much. I actually haven't listened to John Denver in months. That was medicine for my soul. Thanks guys. <3
  12. Thanks y'all. I've had a good day and I'm loving the rain. I hope I multi-quoted correctly. I've never been able to do it right.
  13. I made myself a special breakfast for my birthday dinner. Sausage gravy and biscuits, fried potatoes and onions, scrambled eggs, and bacon.
  14. Perhaps he's foward thinking enough to realize what a drain on the economy Kids with Autism and other disabilities are going to be after they become adults because they never got the early intervention they needed? Somebody needs to stand up for these kids. I know most politicians don't think that way, they only care about votes, not people, not the people that count on them to do the right thing. Look what happened with the medical marijuana bill. Politics, pure, shameful politics. Get the votes, screw the people. But yea, the economy.
  15. True story. I made Pioneer woman's chipotle chicken chili a few weeks ago. My husband said it was good but not "Papi's chili good". I noticed the other day that the crossroads Kroger is now selling Carne Picada. Finally!
  16. I like pools. And turtles. Congrats!
  17. I made pasta with roasted red peppers, caramelized mushrooms & onions, roasted asparagus, sundried tomatoes, garlic, lemon, pesto and feta cheese. It's meatless Monday. Garlic bread on the side.
  18. I hear it's another car dealership. Fun.
  19. My sister lives in walking distance of downtown villa rica. She absolutely loves it. There's always something going on and they have great restaurants. It's a shame we can't have that in Dallas.
  20. At 22 months she's doing good. Let her do her thing. She will figure it out.
  21. This thread reeks of BenGay and mothballs. I kid.
  22. A great big salad with all the fixins plus sliced grilled chicken, and homemade buttermilk herb dressing with fresh cilantro, basil, parsley and thyme.
  23. Powder Springs elementary. This was in the early 80s. It was kind of odd, but cool!
  24. I was in the first grade. It was our class field trip, we flew out of Hartsfield to Jacksonville, wandered around in the airport for a bit then flew back. I haven't been on a plane since. I'm terrified to fly. I'm scared of heights and I have control issues. My daughter will be taking her first flight to London next summer at the age of 17 and I am already (quietly) freaking out. I had a nightmare about it last week.
