I just finished shopping for my son on Amazon. Its going to be a Lightning McQueen Christmas once again! I still need to get him a few more things but his list is about complete. I haven't bought any Christmas gifts before today, I'm feeling giddy. God I love Amazon.

Of course they were ignored, people don't watch the news to see peace. As far as I can see, there is no honest unbiased news source. people tend to want to watch the things that they agree with. Right or wrong. How in the world anyone can put all of their trust into any news media organization is way beyond me, I don't trust any of them. That said, I am so glad I stopped watching Fox News when I did and started thinking for myself. That's what we love about it, it doesn't change. we're staying in the part that will have us. Honestly I don't know the difference. We discovered it when my parents started renting a place in Cape San Blas every summer.

My husband knows how selfish I can be with my restaurant leftovers. One morning, many years ago he decided it would be cute to pretend to drop my leftover chicken wings on the floor.I was really looking forward to those wings. Well, his hand slipped and he ended up actually dropping my chicken wings on the floor with his silly shenanigans. Unforgivable!! Now, every time he decides to act a fool around my food I simply say "chicken wings" and he knows I'm not playin'. He's not even allowed to look at my resturant leftovers anymore.

If I ever have grandkids, I will. Easter was the best, she would create a scavenger hunt using plastic Easter eggs with written clues inside. With each egg and clue she hid, she also included a present for me my brother and sister. she was a lot more creative and crafty than I could ever dream to be but I would sure try!

I once had to work on Christmas, at video wonderland. We had maybe 5 customers all day so I took the opportunity to dress up in the bear suit that was laying around in the back room to be used for promotional purposes.I figured if I had to be there I might as well have fun . I still have the pictures.

My grandma always put on the best Thanksgiving dinner. It was always so fancy, complete with name cards for each of our spots at the table. homemade of course. and she always made them to where they would include a spot to hide money for each of us. I swear,I had the best grandma. I could go on and on about all of the creative things she did for us every holidays. The older I get the more I miss and appreciate her. sorry, I know this is not on topic. Or is it?

I went to the crossroads Kroger today, they were a lot less crowded than I expected. I got everything I needed. If I forgot something then too bad, it wasn't meant to be.

My mom has had a full head of white hair since her late 30's. I'm getting there, I give it 5 more years, maybe 7. I plan to go platinum when it happens.

Where there is smoke, there IS fire. So much has come out since the beginning of this thread. I for one hate it. I loved The Cosby Show growing up. I looked forward to it. It doesn't look like I'm going to be able to watch it ever again. and even if I could, I would never look at it same. That sucks.

I don't mind the thrift stores in downtown Dallas. But I do wish we had a better choice of stores and restaurants. I think downtown Villa Rica got it right. I wish we could have all that they have as far as restaurants, shopping, events and such.

I don't care how long ago it happened. I will never judge a victim of a violent crime for staying silent or for speaking out. I'm not saying he's guilty, I just think that point is invalid.

If he's innocent then what is happening to him is horrible and criminal. However, I find it completely possible that because of his money and power, any such accusations could be easily "ignored". As they have been for some time. This news isn't necessarily new and he has setteled in the past. We will likely never know the truth. This is just another example of how much power the media has. Just or not, its kind of scary.
