It's really wonderful what the community did for this little boy but my heart still breaks for him and his mother. As a mother of a son on the spectrum, this type of thing is a fear of mine for when he gets older.

I can definitely understand your point of view. I think my parents are more environmentaly aware than I am, they're old hippies, they can't help it.

We should totally go back to the way things used to be. I'm going to go get my recycling container and empty it into my regular trash can. I've never once heard a younger person accusing an older person of being selfish or wasteful for such reasons listed above. Or for any reason for that matter. But now that I know it's happening, I'm definitely going to start being outraged about it.

Tattoos have been around for thousands of years, I don't think they're going out of style anytime soon. I have a wee flower on my upper back. Being the romantics that we are, my husband and I got tattoos on our honeymoon. I don't like or dislike it. I forget it exists because I can't see it.

I woke up early so I could hit the store before all of the other crazy people. Turns out I forgot paper towels and Teddy Grahams. I just read that Cobb County called school for Monday. That surprises and scares me.

I love this post. My daughter is 17 and has studied religion on her own, because she wanted to. I have never pushed religion, or non religion on her. She learned about it before she made a decision about it. Which is what I have always taught her to do. She's a good kid and I know lots of people who are non believers who are excellent people as well. Some of the best people I know, actually.
