  1. I'm so very sorry for your loss, I will be keeping you and your family in my thoughts.
  2. http://www.bloomberg.com/politics/articles/2015-04-26/transcript-president-obama-s-2015-white-house-correspondents-dinner-speech Here ya go Brian, I didn't read through the whole thing so I'm not sure if it's the entire content. Seems to be.
  3. Ha! That was pretty hilarious. I loved the Joe Biden, Indiana pizza shop joke.
  4. I worked for a veterinarian back in the day. And several pet stores. One of the worst animal bites I've ever gotten was from a cat having stitches removed. I let go too soon. Lesson learned. Anyhoo, this person is sick in the head and I sincerely hope she is never able to work with animals again.
  5. Since getting our new puppy (Shepard mix), I realize how many excellent qualities pit bulls have. I know the pitbull is not a specific breed, more of a mix of breeds. However, they don't bark much, they don't shed much, they are extremely loyal and obedient. Plus, they give hugs and smiles. Don't get me wrong, I love our new puppy very much, she is just a handful. Not nearly as easy to train as my other dogs were. I'm sure that has a lot to do with the fact that we got her when she was 5 months old, we didn't have a chance to train her from early on. For the most part, we have owned mutts
  6. They all look fantastic. Love the green. Thanks for sharing!
  7. I think it's hilarious that the whole world gets to see what a wretched witch she is.
  8. pretty much, I still can't get over the fact that a bridge was missing its side rails on Dallas Acworth Highway for at least a half a year before they decided to repair it.
  9. Absolutely, and if we expect that to change, we should never turn a blind eye to it.
  10. Oh, I'm definitely getting one now. Thanks Miss. Sophie, for asking the question. I had been wondering myself.
  11. Some questions need to be asked and I would think that anyone who gives a sheeze about the reputation and integrity of law enforcement should be the first ones asking.
  12. We've had ours on and off for a few weeks now. I still regret having all those trees cut down.
  13. I'm so sorry for your loss.
  14. I love the ethnic aisle at food depot. I'm not real big on noodles either. It's not the texture, I just don't really like pasta. I could go the rest of my life without eating mac and cheese and be fine with it.
  15. I completely agree. The day I start worrying about stuff like this is the day I need to start reevaluating my priorities in life.
  16. I have met a lot of people on this site that I like a lot. At least half of them are people I don't agree with politically. Probably more than half. In the grater scheme of things, this whole debate is ridiculous. I won't be lying on my death bed thinking about the people who I disagree with politically and a way to prove them wrong.
  17. Absolutely. I have been a victim of such behaviors. The attacks are coming from both sides. Anyone who can't see that isn't being honest with themselves. Only in the world of P.com am I considered a liberal, simply because I'm not a right wing zealot. I wish we could all see each other as people first, rather than just someone we don't agree with politically.
  18. That pretty much sums it up. Too many teachers, not enough students.
  19. When my daughter was little we always bought her an Easter dress. She loved any excuse to get a new dress. Now she wouldn't be caught dead in one. She had to wear a dress for her dads wedding about 5 years ago and she still says it was the worst day of her life. Lol. I love arranging my kids Easter baskets, I take it quite seriously.
  20. We had dinner at the in-laws. Pork roast, broccoli salad, mashed taters (it was actually a mix of regular and sweet potatoes mashed together, it was good!)and rolls. Both of my kids got baskets. The teenager got an iTunes gift card and a mess of candy. She talked me into giving it to her last night. The boy got books, toys and bubbles. He doesn't eat candy. We did a little living room Easter egg hunt for him after he woke up. He played with the empty plastic Easter eggs longer than he did with anything else he got. We discussed what color they were for at least 30 minutes. Here I
  21. http://tenthousandplaces.org/2015/04/01/bake-for-them-two/ A thoughtful read for this Easter Sunday.
  22. I think I've already said it once in this thread. These laws are nothing more than a big middle finger to the gay community from conservatives. There were plenty of Republicans against the law as it was originally written hence the reason it was rewritten. It's a shame really. I don't want Hillary to be our next president but as long as Republicans keep it up, that's exactly what's going to happen. And then of course they will blame the uninformed voter instead of recognizing how they're being played.
