  1. Normal or not, he still has it pretty good compared to his wife and kid. That's all I'm saying.
  2. Pretty cushy considering that he murdered a baby and the woman he vowed to love and protect.
  3. I made chicken enchilada soup in the crock pot. My husband is sick and I've been lazy today.
  4. I woke up in the middle of the night to the sound of my husband selling Buicks in the bathroom. Let's hope it's not the start of something. Ain't nobody got time for that.
  5. I like this quote from Mr. Rogers, "Frankly, there isn't anyone you couldn't learn to love once you've heard their story", I think we could all find common ground if we took more time to look. I really do hate how divided we've become as a country. I think THAT'S what's sinking our ship.
  6. I made tuna casserole for the first time in years!! I'm pretty excited about it.
  7. Oh, I would love nothing more than to send myself to camp. I'm going to need my own room though.
  8. I haven't had anything worse than a cold. The rest of my family has not been so lucky this season. I took my 17 year old to the doctor for her first sick appointment since she was 6. She's typically a very healthy child. My husband got the flu this year even though he's also quite healthy most of the time. My son is in preschool so it's pretty much a given that he's going to get sick. Often. All that said, I have sneezed 2721 times today. Never in my life have I experienced any issues with allergies until now. I went and bought some Zertec so I've been able to limit my sneezing to only abo
  9. When I planned my menu for the week I forgot it was Saint Patrick's Day. We are having O'Charleys copycat pecan crusted chicken salad with balsamic dressing. I also forgot last year and ended up making Cajun sausage and beans. I'll get it right one of these days. Maybe.
  10. He would see it as a positive. He loves boring golf!
  11. I'm going to PM you my husbands phone number. He'll help you. I have to warn you though, he agrees with your wife (about the plan).
  12. I kind of feel the same way. It's unfortunate that anyone would find it necessary to create a law like this. It should be common sense not to smoke with your kids in the car.
  13. With a valid point. I don't think there's a question as to whether or not police need to be trained better to handle people with mental health problems. I have several acquaintances with autistic children who have stickers on their car alerting emergency personnel that an occupant has autism. I personally think it's a great idea. I read an article a few days ago about how one city in New Jersey is hiring mental health professionals to ride along with police officers. I'll have to look for it...
  14. I like that one too. I always celebrate middle child day. Us middle children have gone long enough without recognition.
  15. I actually agree with you. My post was meant more out of humor. I'm not at all opposed to firework sales in Ga. I'm more opposed to my neighbors.
  16. I'm just worried that my neighbors are going to create fake holidays for a reason to shoot them off more often. They already shoot them off on every other holiday such as, St. Patrick's Day, Mother's Day, even Flag Day.
  17. I love reality shows, especially the Real Housewives series. I won't even call it a guilty pleasure because I don't feel guilty at all. I could do without the constant reruns of Seinfeld and Friends. And all sports.
  18. It happened to me a few nights ago. Because of this thread I knew what to do. It was both a relief and a bummer. I'm glad it worked but part of me was hoping it wouldn't so we could get a new TV in the bedroom.
  19. Well if you think that one was good, you should see some of my others. Anyway, off to my job at the dry cleaners. Sundays are always so busy. I hate it.
  20. I can't speak for the minimum wage paid hourly employee. But from my experience of trying to find good employees, it has almost nothing to do with the wage you pay, it has more to do with people and their drama, prescription pill problems and laziness.
  21. A whole billboard about kids who wear pants too low? Talk about a waste of money. I give these people as much credibility as the Westboro Baptist Church members. And of course racism is still alive and well in America. Anyone who denies that simply isn't paying attention. For the record, I drop my daughter off at high school everyday and underwear showing isn't limited to one race, unfortunately. Or gender.
  22. Not sure if I'm allowed to do this, but here is a Change.org petition to keep HB1 as it was written when it passed the house. https://www.change.org/p/georgia-state-senate-pass-hb1-as-written-when-it-passed-the-house-of-representatives?recruiter=244067531&utm_source=share_petition&utm_medium=facebook&utm_campaign=share_page&utm_term=mob-xs-share_petition-no_msg&fb_ref=Default
  23. This state is so assbackward. SMH. But by all means, we should keep voting the same yahoos in every election simply because of the letter by their name. How embarrassing. I'm so sick and tired of seeing children suffer (including my own) while politicians play. I am truly angry.
