That's how it happened when my daughter decided to play softball about 7 years ago. Her coach was also a newbie and did a terrible job of teaching and coaching. As a result my DD was never comfortable with the game and opted out of the next year. I get mad whan I think about it. My daughter has a lot of power and can hit a ball like nobodys business but her talent was never seen by someone who could have helped her grow, she was just lumped on the "new team".

Happy Birthday S&S! My b-day is may 14, so it occasionally falls on mothers day. I get double honors. Which reminds me, it WILL be mothers day soon!! There used to be a place in down town dallas that delivered wings out here but I don't remember the name. I don't think they were open very long.

Now that I think about it I guess I lean more toward female authors. I love Fannie Flagg, I've read all of her books. Some twice. One is even autographed! I haven't read the new one yet. It's sitting on my dresser. I like the southern charm type or historic fiction or historic romance and those are typically written by women. I do like a Stephen King or Koonz here and there though. "IT" is still my favorite book ever.

If the price goes up and stays up my husband will have to raise rates for our landscaping company. If just a few clients were to decide it would be cheaper to do their lawn themselves, we lose big.

Why? I feel like I have my guard down while i'm sleeping. I don't feel in control if something were to happen. plus it's dark. I like to be able to see the storm! We had a tree fall on our house about 5 years ago during a night storm. I don't ever want to wake up to that again. Not only that, I don't want the thunder to wake up my baby.

My moms dad's side of the family is from Virginia. Going to a family reunion is like going to a bluegrass festival. I love it! I even have an uncle who yodels.

when I was 14 my mom dropped me & my BF off at the movies. We smoked cigarettes, and hung out at the waffle house. I ended up pregnant by him at 19. By no means am I saying this is what will happen to your daughter. Just giving my experience. I agree with the others, you should go.
