I'm so glad my daughter dosen't follow trends. she's a black t-shirt and jeans kinda girl, but she is modest to a fault. I had a hard time getting her to wear shorts last summer. In florida. And when I say shorts I don't mean the panty sized shorts. I mean normal shorts, like a 12 year old should be wearing. She is built very, ah-hem, well and proportioned for her age so i'm glad she want's to cover herself.

I don't answer the door. Even if I know they hear me inside. I just go about my buiness while the dogs bark uncontrollably. then they go away.

I made the best pork tenderloin ever. I marinated it for 6 hours in, soy sauce, sherry, brown sugar & cinnamon then baked it. It was SO good. We also had sauteed asparagus, corn on the cobb and artisan wheat rolls.

I haven't used them, but I watched a "as seen on tv" segment on 11 alive news where they tried them out. IMO they made the pants look nerdy and the girl who tried them out on tv didn't like them.

same here. I heard the siren at some odd hour. It made me paranoid so I just laid there listening for trains. finally fell back to sleep & then the baby woke up at 4:30. I was sleeping soooo good too. Although I did have some disturbing dreams about my dogs. Thats what I get for reading the murdered dog thread right before bed. I'm already looking foward to bed time.

Thats creepy. I've never seen one but i've heard one. I went on a ghost hunt with the atlanta ghost hunters. We were sitting in the attic of an old home that was turned into a civil war hospital and back into a home, when a very lound thumping sound ran across the wall. Like someone was running and tapping the wall frantically as they went by. The ghost hunter guy said he though it could have been a rat. I say no way. That would have been a HUGE rat. Scared the livin crap outta me! I have the whole experience on dvd and cd. I've watched the dvd a little bit and you can definatley see thing
