A question about a legal document , hospitals and children

Well, how should I know? It's a secret, remember? My MIL works for a lawyer so I assume it was whatever it needed to be. -
A question about a legal document , hospitals and children
jennilyn77 replied to jennilyn77's topic in RECENT TOPICS
He didn't think it was a big deal, thats why he didn't mention it. And it's really not. I'm not mad at anyone, i'm just annoyed is all. And curious. Drawing up legal documents for a 2 day trip would have never crossed my mind honestly. I was really shocked when he told me. Idk, I just think it's a little extreme. ETA- I also figured it would be an interesting p.com topic. -

That's what I would think. I honestly feel like this was a way for her to feel like she has the "upper hand" and I definately think she didn't mention it to me on purpose. she has a history of controlling behaviors. Another question, Does anyone else do this when they go out of for 2 days? no silly, we weren't in Hawaii. I was just using that as an example because it's farther away and would take longer to get home. -

Yea, thats my thoughts. But say there were no legal documents and we were in Hawaii. What steps does the hospital take, would a phone call be ok? I have no problems with her doing what she did. It's the way she went about it. I really want to know for future reference. How does that work? -

I have a question, while my hubby and I were on our way home from Fla. yesterday he informed me that his mom (who was watching the baby while we were gone) Had a legal document drawn up giving her the right to have my baby treated at a hospital if he were to get sick. She had my husband sign it before we left. I had no knowledge of this til yesterday. We left friday. My immediate reaction was to be pissed. Why did nobody tell me? I like to be informed if legal documents are drawn with my childs name on them. My question is, if there were no legal documents and my child needed to be seen at a

Ross is a good place to go for dresses too.

I always forget about JCPenny! dangit. I was just in hiram yesterday and went to Marshalls and Target to buy some clothes for Florida. I was looking for dresses and found none. I blame the poor placing of that store. I can't see it from the road. Out of sight out of mind.

I like the idea of a p.com gang sign. An no, I wouldn't. I'm shy. Since i've posted a picture of my baby before I suppose someone could recognize him and then know who I am but I doubt it. I think it depends on the situation and who it was as to weather or not I would be creeped out. -
Some People Think The Best Way To Handle A Problem
jennilyn77 replied to Eddie Bennett's topic in RECENT TOPICS
I think some people are just better problem solvers. I never really considered myself to be "booksmart" But I am an awesome problem solver. Never met a problem I couldn't solve or at least make better other than sickness and death. My husband, who is one of the smartest people I know (think jeopardy), is a terrible problem solver. I don't think it has anything to do with education. Peoples brains are just wired differently. I think accepting responsibility for your own problems is the only way to begin to solve them. If it's always someone elses fault you never learn. -
That was going to be my suggestion. Gabriels. Can she eat BBQ? Johnny's in Powder Town always hits the spot!

I'm so sorry Lowrider. Hugs to you. I will keep you and your mom in my thoughts.

Yes, I do have some of those symptoms, out of the list I have 7. interesting. Thanks BL. As far as panic attacks go, that could also be a possibility. I'm leaving tomorrow for Florida and leaving my baby for 3 days. I've been sad and stressed about it. so maybe that has something to do with it.

I had high blood pressure right after he was born. I think that might be a possibilty. Not sure why I didn't think of it. Thanks everyone.

Vanilla scents are the worst IMO. Do they still sell Vanilla Fields? I remember all the girls wore that in high school.

For the past week or so my heart has been beating irregularly. It's like a flutter or like skipping a beat and it seems to happen at night along with shortness of breath. I googled my symptoms and came up with heart arrythmia. Yes, I do plan to call the dr. since it seems to keep happening. To be honest I just haven't felt "right" since my baby was born. I chalked it up to being tired but now i'm starting to wonder if something is going on. Anyone know anything about this condition or ever have a similar experience? TIA.
