Took 9 yr old to a routine teeth cleaning and dentist
marteenj replied to sandy01's topic in RECENT TOPICS
Some childrens dentists like to call it "sedation dentistry". Anyway, Life Smiles/ Dr. Jackson is excellent with kids and will give you an honest opinion and consult. They only see kids. 4150 Macland Rd, Powder Springs (kroger shopping center) near the county line. -
What was he doing that was illegal? are you on the do-not-call-list? There are alot of those type of "trolls" out there doing the fishing for attorneys, body shops, chiropractors, etc. --When i had an accident a few years ago, i got phone calls and mail from all of those, even as far off as atlanta & norcross. Apparently it is all public records? Like i am going to visit a chiro in duluth! I have a friend that used to drive around subdivisions with binoculars looking at houses' siding back during the (i think it was masonite) siding litigation was going on. He was making fairly

expires at midnight....... $250 + tax -- Refurb HP Compaq HP 6910p Laptop-Intel Core2Duo 2GHz CPU --- I know it only has 1GB memory and 80GB hard drive, and a 14" screen, but it has Win7 Pro and upgradable later. Might be better than waiting on that acer laptop on black friday at wally world. wow, you know for certain that your tag light is working every night that you drive? what does a "lawbreaker" look like any way? --I would like to know so i can avoid them. -
kroger fuel centers give you free air -- if you get gas with them. But, you have to ask for it. They have a remote control in the booth to turn on the air compressor when the customer asks.

so, he/she can get legal shield now and get help with this current case?

farting around on paulding.com? --- well, you talk a good game and such, but where in the georgia code does it discuss the one-sided local tactics of the hiram traffic court or point reduction plans for the local judge? That kind of information is only obtained by locals that have been in there, whether on the wrong side of the law or attorneys with experience in that particular court room and judge. That is the purpose of these forums, to share "local" information -- whether it be your best cornbread recipe or which judge takes community service.
-
the problem with that technique is that when you request a different court date, the clerk checks with the officer or the department to see when they are available, not when you, the defendant is available. I have seen this happen in cobb traffic court and hiram traffic court. that is what i was thinking, school zone or construction zone or a commercial vehicle

I would like to see the whole video too. However, some things can be reasonably inferred: 1. - He is a delta employee, so obviously not a homeless bum that the P.D. can harass. He could not get hired or have TSA airport access without a clean criminal record and drug tested (at the time of hiring at least). 2. - There are no other charges on him at arrest. You know, if powder springs could have found anything else, they would have stacked charges. (vehicle had a tag and insurance, etc -- there were no drugs found on him or vehicle) -

That was my point. It takes very little to escalate into injury or even death when dealing with some law enforcement officers and their bad attitudes. The old "i smell alcohol" or "i smell marijuana" trick, haha. Whether it is a soccer mom yanked out of her minivan and thrown on the ground at atlanta airport or it could even be your son, brother or father out there getting harassed. For these type of officers, it is all about control. You say the wrong thing or look the wrong way at them and the situation could escalate. This stuff has been going on for many decades. INCANDESENT LIGHT BULBS.......IF THE GOVERNMENT IS INVOLVED
marteenj replied to lowrider's topic in RECENT TOPICS
A couple of questions: 1. - Do the LED bulbs flicker at 60hz same as the CFL bulbs or do they have a capacitor type circuit that keeps them on continuous? 2. - At the typical $1200 to replace the entire household, how many years to recover that cost? (don't forget to factor in the lost heating effect during the winter --- my furnace will have to work harder to heat the house now). I mean i can buy more than 2000 regular bulbs for that amount of money. However, since i am being open minded about this, in the summer, i could switch all the bulbs back to CFL/LED to eliminate the ext -

Powder Springs P.D. playing games again....... "An internal affairs investigation is under way after a man claimed an officer grabbed his genitals during a videotaped traffic stop, then choked and shocked him when he reacted." http://www.wsbtv.com/news/news/man-says-police-arrested-him-after-he-reacted-touc/nDyQr/ Can you believe he was stopped for having a tag light out?

not sure which one they are referring to going on this past week other than the north georgia fair, but upcoming ones are: the elberton fair starts Oct 3rd, with demolition derbys (elberton, ga) the coosa valley fair starts Oct 4th (rome, ga) the cumming country fair starts Oct 6th (forsyth county) the georgia/carolina state fair starts Oct 14th (augusta, ga) and the biggest one in georgia, the georgia national fair with rodeos, concerts, nightly fireworks, and laser shows starts Oct 6th (I-75 south, perry, ga)---- below macon, but worth the drive.

hiram officers have a common fishing area on the 4-lane 278 where the speed drops from 55 to 45 while going down a hill. i am not making excuses for him, but he could have been thinking it was still 55 and he was "only" 11 over.

the idler pulley spring broken would cause the belt to slip on the water pump. kind of rare, but it does happen. easy enough to check (the belt would be loose). odds are it is the thermostat or low coolant in the radiator cycling through (not the fill bottle level). with the engine cool, remove the radiator cap, if it has one, and the coolant should be at the top
-
Most likely your thermostat is sticking occasionally or stuck slightly open instead of fully opening and closing trying to keep the engine at the same temperature. The cooler weather we have had last night and today is making it run cooler than the "normal" mid-line on the gauge. You may also notice it taking alot longer to arm up in cold weather. Since it is going to be cold tonight, the gauge will be even lower while running. It is not a major issue though, not like the engine overheating or running hot would be something to immediately get checked out. Some symptoms you may see as the

The last time i was in the hiram traffic court about 9 months ago, they would not let the parents come in with the accused (citation)child. I saw this several times and one lady tried arguing with the "officer" at the door that her daughter was only 16 and not an adult, etc. He would not let the mom in there unless she was an actual witness to the citation. You want to talk about a completely biased (one-sided) situation, here is a 16 y.o. girl by herself in the courtroom without representation or parents there being shuffled to the city attorney desk and given paperwork to sign and basical

the compressor oil runs out into the lines, so wait at least 24 hours to let it settle down before plugging it in after moving.

I call B.S. on that. Maybe it doesn't matter at some small town country county. A significant number of chattahoochee tech grads are going to the cobb P.D. academy. They score higher on the tests. It is a way to get your foot in the door if you do not have prior military or you have been a jailer for umpteen years. Cobb rank officers and detectives teach alot of the classes at the marietta campus, they see who has a chance to make it and vetting out those that really should be "probation officers" and "security guards". There is a definite networking opportunity there.
