I never said it was a good thing for all. It's just a financial fact of life. Bigger profit with fewer workers (and therefore lower production cost) IS what most corporations with stockholders will choose to do. And what extra you need, you either outsource or use employee leasing companies to provide the labor. Ace Hardware in Douglasville makes them. I got one made there for my Altima. I can't remember the price but it was a good deal cheaper than the Nissan dealer wanted. I have read, on here, that the Ace Hardware in New Hope makes them.

Thanks. I remembered reading somewhere that once you get the modem set up you didn't need the computer. I just wanted to make sure before I unhook the computer.

My router/modem is hooked up through my desktop which now officially seems to be among the dead. I need to at least have it looked at. My question is this: if I unplug my router/modem from the computer, will my wireless connection be unplugged as well? Currently, it works with or without the desktop being on.
