And the US and Canada are not the only countries that celebrate a thanksgiving day. Most other countries don't call it Thanksgiving Day and may instead call it Harvest Thanksgiving. It's completely arrogant and ignorant to think that the US is the ONLY country that celebrates it.

My best friend is spending the day alone. She is homebound and can't get out to go anywhere unless it's a dire emergency. Her husband is spending the day with his mother and brother's family. They have no kids. I'm not happy about her being alone today. She seems to be more OK with it than I am. I personally think her husband should spend the day with her instead of his mommy. BTW, they have been married for 35 years, so it's not like he just left mama's house and misses her. Gonna give her a call after we eat. At least she will know someone cares about her. Hoping her brot

I bet that was you I saw!! I can't remember where but somewhere up around Shipp Road and Florence Road. We were in our little red convertible.

Glenn, I just don't know what to say. I am so sorry to hear this. I was hoping for a full recovery. On earth. Hugs to you my friend. Know you have an angel looking after you now. -
Some People Are Confused About The Definition Of Work

Actually, most millionaires have worked harder than I did. And still do. -
My in-laws bought a car that looked EXACTLY like this one. Bought it brand new, in what, 1988? My MIL still has the car. My bet is it still doesn't have 50,000 miles on it.

FYI, I like my men rich, handsome and of legal age. Well, at least my husband is two of those three. Also, like them to be older than the oldest dress in my closet. Unfortunately, that means I'm now looking at 40-somethings. Sadly, that IS younger for me.

A baby blue Maverick was the first car for one of my nephews. He loved it!

I sooooooo wanted a Cougar. I had my eye on a pistachio green one that I saw every morning on my way to school. LOVED that car! Red and black--my school colors! I would have liked that, too.

Some People Are Confused About The Definition Of Work

It's done the same way you work overtime or really long hours. You're exhausted afterwards. When my husband and I had our machine shop, I worked two jobs. I would go to the shop in the morning to prepare invoices or deposits or whatever I needed to do in the morning and then go to my job in a doctor's office. I worked 5 hours there and then I'd l go back to the shop and check in. I'd go home, pick up our daughter after she got off the school bus and go back to the shop where I'd work until sometimes midnight. And yes, I actually WORKED. I ran parts, picked up materials, swept the flo -

I could watch it all day. Well, I'd have to have potty breaks. -
Ours didn't do that but it sure wouldn't run first thing in the morning if you tried to even have on the radio before it got warmed up. Husband's '63 Ford truck used to jump out of gear. More than once he had to stop on the side of the road and crawl under the truck to put it back. I never understood exactly what happened but I do remember once he was dressed really nice and had to do that. Our '73 Buick LeSabre would vapor lock. It did that twice in one day with me. Once on Powder Springs Road near Flint Hill and the other time down the street from our house. Once it did that i

I wouldn't say that I get to help change lives but I do feel like I make a valuable contribution to my clients and their livelihoods. They make my life rich, even if they don't make ME wealthy. -

Do what you love and you'll never work a day in your life. I am not working. -

I'm not confused by the definition of work. I just say no to it. -
We bought a "maroon" 1975 Dart in 1999. LOVED that car. It would fly like a bat out of you-know-where. Just couldn't run the a/c or heat first thing in the morning or you'd be sitting there dead on 278. I put "maroon" in quotation marks because the car looked brown to us.

Almost any "dollar" store has them this time of year. I agree about Food Depot. I see a lot of plastic storage items there.

I actually picked this car out at a used car lot. Finally one day my dad decided to buy it and stop driving his Corvair. When I started driving, I drove this car and when my dad passed away I got this car. Kept it until I bought a 1975 Camaro. This is not an actual picture of my car but it is identical to my car. This one appears to be a convertible but mine had a black vinyl top instead.

My dad was too old for active duty in WWII, so he joined the Merchant Marines. His ship was torpedoed by a German U-boat and sank in the north Atlantic. By some miracle, there was no loss of life on the ship. I've attached a photo of the ship he served on that time. He served on several others through the years.

There would still be homemade brownies.

You must have seen some of the same people I have.

A "small amount of marijuana" is not enough to even have the cops show up at your house much less get you shot. I have a good deal more than "limited experience" with those who smoke pot and can say without hesitation that they are as a general rule more rational than when they didn't. The ones I have dealt with, again more than limited experience, who drink are the ones who get irrational and confrontational. There was not one single joint a a New Year's party my husband and I hosted with another couple but there was plenty of booze. It got out of hand with gunfire, fights and Paulding

The man mentioned in the press release is indeed in jail on multiple charges. So who posted the bs?
