Now you sound like my husband! He knows there is a washing machine and dryer because he had to move them to paint the laundry room but he has NO clue how to operate them. None. When I still had all three kids at home, I used to use the laundry room as the hiding place for their Christmas and birthday presents because the most they would do was open the door, toss something in and run. NEVER went in there. And that is no exaggeration.

I can't say anything against it. I used to do it all the time. Loved my job and I was treated well by my employers.

I only do regular laundry once a week. However, like Monkeytail, most things are not used but once or twice at the most before they go into the hamper. Jeans I may wear for a couple of days, especially if I wear sweats or shorts most of the time. Shirts are generally worn once. Towels are hung up and dried and then used at least once. Washcloths usually once. Sheets get washed about once a week, not at the regular laundry day though.

Hiram would work best for us.

Oooo. He can order them??? I just might have to go up there and ask him. PT Solutions is in Hiram, right? I never go to Hiram anymore. Yep, surgery pretty well shoots the deductible.

Can you just go and get physical therapy or do you need a doctor's order? It's been 30+ years since I went and if memory serves me correctly, the doctor just stopped by the PT place which was next door to our office and told them what to do for me. Or maybe they just told me what to tell them I needed. I can't remember!! Would love to get some PT for my husband.

The secret to cooking venison is to use a crock pot and cook it just like you would a beef roast. Or use the ground meat in lasagna. When I had foot surgery in 2006 my boss and his wife made a huge recipe of lasagna and used ground venison in it. Yum, yum. I wanted to have another foot surgery just so I could have another pan of lasagna from them.

I think it is actually around the deserted lot next door. It's really difficult to see where the fence is exactly when you're driving. Yep, they are open. I see a lot of cars there on Tuesday and occasionally see one on Friday (those are the only two days I go by there).

Pretty sure the dentist is closed on Sunday. And Saturday. And they seem to be closed on Friday. Not sure about the rest of the week but I see cars there on Tuesday when I go by, both times.

The Silver Comet Trail reminds me of the old video game Frogger. You just have to dart out, hoping you won't get hit.

First, you should read this: http://www.tradersgame.com/articles/taxing-gold.html Gold, silver and other physical metals (along with vintage wines, stamps, artworks and antiques) are classified by the IRS as “collectibles”. If you held the investment for a year or less, the gain is short term capital gain and is taxed at ordinary income rates. If you held the asset for more than a year, the gain is long term capital gain and is taxed at the special long-term rate for collectibles, currently 28%. The form of physical metal you sold is irrelevant. Gains on gold coins, bars, “gram gold ac

Out "west" of England? Would that be like the middle of the Atlantic Ocean?

When I was still living at home with my mom we had a running joke. Every time the county came by to pave the road within a week or two they would be out there digging a trench for a new water line or the phone company would be there to do something or the power company would be there for something. Seemed like it was always the water company tearing up the new road.

Enough to scare the crap out of you, isn't it? The spring breaking, that is. I think Metro Garage Doors is still in business. They are in Winston. I don't have contact info but you should be able to find them in the yellow pages.

Right field. Oh, when you sleep. Left side, curled up with pillow between knees and hugging a small pillow.

Just don't call me a "civil liberties" person again. BTW, I told my daughter about that and I really thought she was going to fall out of her chair laughing. I was just glad she didn't have Mountain Dew in her mouth at the time. She would have spewed. Really. Maybe it is because once in a while YOU can be right. Nah, I'd rather have a Kahlua and cream. That's my winter favorite.

Macland Rd Sidewalk Construction Is It Needed?

My question, too. If you have them as a collectible and then sell them for more than you paid, they will be taxed. If you show any increase in value, they could be taxed. Also, if you put MORE money in your checking/savings/money market accounts than you claim as income, you could face at minimum questioning by the IRS about where that extra money came from. I just never "got" why gold and silver were good investments. You have to have a market in which to sell them. Right now, I'd invest in copper and scrap metal.

Bud's (online) has it for $407 (SR9C, which is what I want since I can't justify a Glock). I'll check Adventures Outdoors.
