I have fond memories from all of these. Growing from a child to a parent from '73 to '93 makes the memories even more wonderful. BUT IT WAS COLD HAS H3LL!!!

I hope a lot of y'all signed up for this. We went last year and it was so good, we went again today. The food is spectacular! What I love most, though, is the family style seating. Both years we have had wonderful lunch partners. This year was the best. We met Gene and Jo and could have talked to them for hours. We found they do this dinner at Thanksgiving and will most likely try it in 2014.

Grew up on Campbell Road. 6 or 7 houses down from CHS. Went to Argyle then Nash then Campbell. We moved to Smyrna when I was 4 and left when I was 18. Have some really wonderful memories of that small town. We walked to Jonquil Pool almost every day in the summer. Played softball at Jonquil Park for years. Gentler times.

THank you all for the info. She was just diagnosed yesterday. There are white spots on her brain. I have no idea what that is. Hubby had already done a bit of research and he said that was more of a sign of MS than cancer, so that made me feel better. I certainly don't want to share anything with the DD and the SIL but want to get as much info. as I can. Thank mrnn, I will definitely remember you when we get more information from the Dr.

Thank you, Sweet Mei! I am going to pass this along to the kids as soon as Mom comes home. I plan to make some meals for them and help in any way I can. They lost their Dad to cancer 2 years ago.

My SonIL's Mother was diagnosed with MS. She is in her late 50's and was experiencing some major numbness late last week and has been in the hospital since Saturday. Does anyone have experience with MS? I'd just like to get some kind of idea as to what this wonderful family is in for. and yes, I know we aren't Doctors. I just want opinions and experiences with this debilating disease.

Class of 82. Don't remember Dogs and Suds. But I do remember Fat Boys and miss McIntyre's!! Those who said to try Come 'n Get It are correct. and they make a mean meatloaf (I have only ever liked mine). I miss those days at times. So free and innocent!!!!!!

Miserable weather and almost weekend. Went to the company party Friday night and apparently I can't drink like I did when I was young. I only had 4 rum and cokes, for goodness sake!! Slept most of the day away yesterday. We finished with the indoor decorations today and have been watching BBC's Call the Midwife. I love it!! I do wish the rain would go away!!!

This is such a warm and fuzzy story. Nice to hear of goodness in our lives. But to listen to RM tell the story, you just laugh. She has the best stories and all the Angels and Saints surrounding her little self. .... or is it Saints and Angels, RM?

I would love to bring her by!! They live in Ballground ( ) now, so we don't get her as much as we used to. Once they get settled in, I am sure that will change, though. I am about to go through separation anxiety not seeing them as much!!! I may have to wait til after Christmas because your Frosty decorations might come home with me.

Surepip- Any idea on the cost? We do Christmas with the whole family and were gonna blow off the whole Thanksgiving dinner thing. BUT, your menu sounds soooo delish that I'd be very interested. Smoked turkey, giblet gravy must have giblets and potatoes and everything else.
