The catering companys main director had been in a car accident that morning - they were catering two weddings.....The wedding cakes were accidentally swapped, so, my cake didn't look like it "fit" the wedding. Then, my mother in law is a bad trip anyways......First, she refused to ride in the limo from the hotel to the wedding because she couldn't smoke - same with her mother & brother - then they took different cars and were separated. When I asked why I couldn't walk down the aisle on time, my poor friends had to be the ones to tell me it was because my mother in law had been late and

Same for a family of 3.....we use Red Box like crazy, though...Around town center, some movies can be $11 a ticket...just crazy.

I've seen that 3 times this summer as well as when people are seated, they pull out coke bottles, water bottles & candy. For the price of the stuff, can't say that I blame them. My son said he wasn't asking for candy again because we'd paid a fortune for a box & when he opened it, the plastic bag inside held barely as much as a .79 cent bag from the grocery store. However, when I said I could do what the others around us had done, he said no, mom, that's wrong, I just won't eat while we're watching a movie.....When you look at a larger family - I don't know how they take their kids

When I was in school & rode to school with my boyfriend (sophomore thru sr year), not only did he have a lighter & a pocket knife - there was a gun rack behind my head with a hunting rifle. His fishing gear was behind the seat w/the poles in the bed of the truck. Times have changed since 1979!!!

Don't laugh, but there is a postit that lives on my dash - WHERE IS YOUR KNIFE! He does use clippers to cut them. And, he's actually very good at keeping them clean/cut

My neighbor does this in her home with her daughters....complete with cucumbers on the eyes....I think it's cute...however, she doesn' tallow them to wear the nail polish when they go anywhere....they take it all off after their "spa day" Nope....they'd been to the outlet mall to buy the coach purses...they were real....personally, I think parents doing this crap does nothing to "help" the kids fit in...does more to make them feel the pressure of keeping up with the joneses....I was appalled but I tried to be like - hey, this is normal That's what I'm thinkin'

I have a middle school boy, so, forgive me....but, am I seriously this out of touch? Stopped by a "day spa" to pick up a gift certificate. There were a group of little girls - having hair cuts/highlights/styling, mani/pedis & I learned from one of the moms - facials & ear piercings. The mom said "OH, it's middle school makeover day" They were all going into 6th grade. SIXTH GRADE!! Is this normal?????? And, several of these little girls had COACH purses & all that weren't having nails done were texting.......What is this world coming to? They're adults at, what, 10/11??

Seriously??? I've never known of another!! I spoke to my OB about it when I was pregnant to see if he needed to know that I'd had this "condition" at birth. He said he's seen just a few in all his years. Wow. And, I thought I was nuts! Well, I am, but. It's just strange things - I've answered questions that people swore they didn't ask me, they said they were just thinking about it. I tend to "know" when a tragedy has happened & call/go to someone just as they are being told. I'll sometimes pick up the phone just before it rings & I already know who is on the other end. I'

I was born with a membrane - part of the amniotic sac - sort of glued to my head & side of my face. My "Granny" always called it a "call" and said I was an old soul come back for special purposes - she had a lot of superstitions. She said I had a "second sight". Anyway, all of my life, I've done things to freak out my friends. I try to not do it as much as an adult, but, sometimes it just happens - I seem to "sense" things or "know" things. About 9 or 10 years ago, I had a woman who BACKED into me at a redlight - YES, BACKED UP and took out the whole front end of my SUV. Now, there's glass all over my car, around my car, etc. and she tries to tell the popo that I hit her. Uhm.....Law of physics ma'am. Look at the glass, the position of the cars, uh, the slide marks???? Anyway, she tried to get out of it. Was a major headache & we ended up in court. Even though she was insured, she lied to her insurance agency & even though she was tickete, we had to go to court to get them to pay.
